Google on Sunday released a new Google Doodle which celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with the help of a little jig.
Google has been creating Google Doodle’s for St. Patrick’s Day since 2000, but this is the first time an animated offering has been displayed.
The Google Doodle examines a traditional Irish stepdance with the help of six Irish children dancers.
The new graphic is being displayed in the United States, Ireland, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
The Irish stepdance became popularized in 1994 when the popular troupe Riverdance began touring with the complicated and often physically draining dance steps.
