Paula Patton recently discussed the controversy surrounding Miley Cyrus’ VMAs performance during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live .

As this article suggests, the world still hasn’t stopped talking about the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s appearance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. A lot of the rumors have centered around Robin Thicke’s wife. Depending on who you believe, she wasn’t exactly pleased with the performance.

“Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don’t know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your… all my friends do it like that. And I don’t really know what the big deal is,” Patton explained to host Andy Cohen .

She continued, “I didn’t know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song’s about taking molly!”

Rumors surrounding Paula Patton and Miley Cyrus started swirling almost as soon as the awards ceremony came to an end. Reports suggested that Robin Thicke’s wife got into a scuffle with the singer back-stage at the event.

Patton believes that people are putting too much time and energy into stirring up controversy. According to the actress, people who weren’t involved with the situation are way more concerned about the performance than her.

Although she’s confident in their relationship now, Paula Patton admitted that she wasn’t always convinced her husband was faithful. Before they got married, the singer’s wife said she once got caught sneaking around outside of his home .

“Before my husband was my husband — I don’t know what got in my head, love makes you crazy — I drove all the way to his house and I was in his bushes trying to look through the window. I totally got caught! Thank God I was wrong,” Patton told Essence magazine.
