Beyonce has opened up about her miscarriage. Beyonce is a strong woman, but this is the first time she’s gone public about this sad point in her life.
In Beyonce’s new HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream , the singer will finally talk about her unsuccessful first pregnancy.
According to Perez Hilton , Beyonce says:
“About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time. And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life … I picked out names. I envisioned what my child would look like … I was feeling very maternal.”
In the midst of Beyonce’s excitement something went wrong and Beyonce learned about it during a checkup:
“I flew back to New York to get my checkup—and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat.”
According to the Huffington Post , Beyonce dealt with the pain the only way she knew:
“I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I’ve ever written in my life. And it was actually the first song I wrote for my album. … And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through.”
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Beyonce recently was discovered lip-syncing, to which she answered the critics, “Can I live?”
Also previously reported by The Inquisitr , Jay-Z had recorded a song about it Beyonce’s miscarriage which had hit about the same as her daughter Blue Ivy was born. Beyonce was overjoyed about her successful pregnancy:
“Being pregnant was very much like falling in love. You are so open. You are so overjoyed. There’s no words that can express having a baby growing inside of you, so of course you want to scream it out and tell everyone.”
A miscarriage would take a lot of courage for anyone to open up about, but once again, Beyonce delivers.
