In case you haven’t heard, Fast and Furious 6 is slated to arrive in theaters later this year. In order to keep the buzz building, the studio has unleashed a teaser for the upcoming trailer.
The studio behind the sequel has orchestrated a strong online campaign thanks to the efforts of Vin Diesel and co-star Michelle Rodriguez . Diesel released a handful of images on his official Facebook page last month. He also used the social media site to let everyone know about the film’s Super Bowl trailer.
Rodriguez, who returns to the franchise with this installment, recently got in on the action. In addition to dropping an image of her from the film on her Facebook page , she let it be known that the three-minute trailer for the flick would appear online Tuesday.
To prepare fans for the full trailer, a 30-second teaser for the Fast and Furious 6 has been made available online. It’s only half-a-minute long, but it should keep moviegoers happy until the full clip hits the internet.
Here’s the official synopsis for those who missed it:
“Since Dom and Brian’s Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
“Meanwhile, Hobbs has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty. The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.”
The 30-second teaser has been embedded below.
