According to presidential hopeful Donald Trump, he was a very good friend of Michael Jackson. A very, very good friend. However, Michael’s brother, Jermaine Jackson is angry with “this fool Trump” over recent comments he made about his late brother.
Trump speculated during an interview on a CNN GOP Town Hall with Anderson Cooper that the late Michael Jackson had lost his confidence due to his “bad, bad, bad” plastic surgery.

Speaking to Cooper, Trump said of Michael Jackson that he knew him very well, and how Jackson lived in Trump Tower and that Michael and Lisa Marie Presley actually got married in Trump Tower. Trump joked that Jackson was “up there for one week with her and they never came down” and that they obviously “got along.”
However, he went on to state that Jackson was an “unbelievably talented guy,” but that he had lost his confidence due to bad plastic surgery.
“He lost tremendous confidence because of, honestly, bad-bad-bad surgery. He had the worst. He had people that did numbers on him that were just unbelievable. You know, the plastic surgeons. He was an unbelievable talent who actually lost his confidence. Believe it or not, when you lose your confidence in something you can even lose your talent.”
As reported by the New York Daily News , on hearing these comments, Jermaine Jackson hit the social media platform Twitter, saying, “‘Friends’ don’t pay tribute by peddling b.s. theories about Michael’s ‘loss in confidence,’ adding “ This fool Trump needs to sit down.”
The former Jackson 5 singer explained that Michael Jackson’s confidence was affected by the “pressures, injustice and vitriol of external circumstances.”
Jackson went on to accuse Trump of name-dropping brother Michael’s name in an effort to attract more votes in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections.
Name-dropping Michael don’t make you cool and won’t win you votes. Especially when using botched facts.

In their report on the story, TMZ quoted Jermaine as saying that Trump was “no friend of Michael Jackson ,” but Jermaine did put them straight in a responding tweet, saying he never said that and was referring to the comments about the botched plastic surgery.

. @TMZ , I never said ‘You’re no friend of Michael.’ He was. It’s ‘botched surgery’ talk that I don’t expect from a friend.

Meanwhile, as reported on the Inquisitr, Donald Trump has been upsetting other high-profile people, including Pope Francis, after he initially termed the Pope’s comments about him as being “disgraceful.”
When Pope Francis was flying back to the Vatican after a visit to Mexico, the pontiff openly questioned Trump’s Christian faith, saying he was “not a Christian” after his remarks about deporting undocumented immigrants and wanting to build a wall on the border between the United States and Mexico.
Donald Trump later backed down on his remarks about Pope Francis, saying he didn’t like fighting with the Pope.
So far, there has reportedly been no response from the presidential hopeful on the various tweets by Jermaine Jackson, so it remains to be seen whether Trump will take back his remarks to avoid fighting with the Jackson family too.
