Beyoncé was pulled offstage by an over-excited fan during her concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday night (Sep. 15).

The shocking incident, which was captured on video, took place during the singer’s Mrs. Carter Show world tour at the Estádio do Morumbi Stadium.

During her performance of “Irreplaceable,” Beyoncé got up close with her fans, kneeling down one side of the central stage at one point.

A shirtless male concertgoer jumped up and pulled the 32-year-old offstage, yanking her into the audience.

Fortunately, the mother-of-one’s bodyguard Julius, who was standing nearby, quickly pulled Bey back onstage.

Ever the professional, Beyoncé carried on singing and the show continued.

To her credit, the superstar even intervened when security guards began escorting the fan away.

The Houston native stopped the guards, saying,

“He just got a little excited. It’s alright.” The singer then asked the male fan for his name, shook his hand, and said , “Thank you. I love you, too.”

Throughout the drama, the blue sequinned jumpsuit singer attempted to keep the audience calm as she repeated, “It’s alright, it’s alright.”

At the end of the song, Beyoncé told the crowd, “I love you all.”

The Grammy award winner arrived in Brazil earlier this month to kick off the Latin American leg of tour, with her first concert taking place Fortaleza on September 8.

After a reportedly stunning show in Rio De Janeiro on Friday, the star hit São Paulo on Sunday.

The star recently celebrated her 32nd birthday with rap mogul husband Jay Z and their 21-month-old daughter Blue Ivy in Ibiza , while yachting along the Italian coast.

Beyoncé has continued to share snaps of the family’s vacation from Italy, and of her time in Brazil, on her Tumblr account .

At a press conference in Brazil before beginning her South America dates, the star told reporters:

“It’s really interesting because I’m touring with my daughter for the first time and my dream has always been to be able to balance my life and my career.”

She added: “I think that’s the one thing that women struggle with because it’s so difficult. It makes me proud of my job. It makes me proud that music can impact so many people and bring us together.”

The singer also praised Brazil, saying ,”It’s one of my favorite places in the world. I’ve never met so many people with so much passion and I am so excited to be here. It doesn’t feel like I’m working, it feels like a vacation.”

Beyoncé and her (nearly) all-female troop will move on to Venezuela, Colombia and Mexico before wrapping up the Latin leg in Puerto Rico on September 28.

Hopefully, shirtless encounters with over-excited fans trying to pull her offstage will be a one-off.
