Nick Saban is “the devil himself” according to a Florida coach who once worked under Nick Saban.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Nick Saban aka the devil himself has rumors floating around that he might switch to the NFL.
But Saban the devil himself did not spit any fire and was only amused by these rumors, with the Alabama college football coach denying he had any such NFL plans.
Now this is not the first time Nick Saban has been compared to the devil. The Vanderbilt coach James Frankli called Saban a devil, referring to the Alabama coach as “Nicky Satan.”
Florida offensive line coach Tim Davis was speaking to a group of Florida boosters when he referred to Nick Saban as “the devil himself” when asked to explain the difference between working with Nick Saban and Will Muschamp:
“I’ve always wanted to work with Will. Will’s got a plan. Will coached under the devil himself for seven years. I only did three. He did seven. And his DNA is not any different than Nick. [Muschamp]’s like the other guy, only he’s got a personality. He’ll smile at you. He’ll talk to you. You understand? That’s what he’s all about. That’s Will. I’m proud to work for him.”
Tim Davis apparently wasn’t expecting his Nick Saban devil comments to make it outside the walls of the booster club. Still, Davis has some experience with the devil, er, Nick Saban since he was an assistant coach for two seasons with the Miami Dolphins and one year with Alabama.
Do you think Nick Saban “the devil himself” is owed an apology from Tim Davis?
