Apparently, Jerry Seinfeld has no love for Kim Kardashian and her family. The funnyman recently attacked the Kardashians and Jenners after learning his teenage daughter is a fan.
Jerry Seinfeld, in a few words, skewered Kim and the Kardashians by saying that “these people are not doing anything interesting.” Seinfeld made the shocking confession during an interview with Mr. Porter .
Jerry shared a few “ dad jokes ” and insight into his interpretation of fatherhood. He admitted not being a dad who gets into his kids’ personal or social spaces. Rather, he knows how to engage them and where his boundaries are apart from his wife’s.
The interviewer asked Seinfeld the question, “What kind of father would your children say you are?”
As New York’s Page Six wrote, he didn’t parse his words on the Kardashian family and reality television, in general, during an incident with his daughter, Sascha. After learning the teen was underneath the bed covers watching Kim’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians on her smartphone, he went ballistic.
“I never lose it around them. The one time I really, really got upset was when my daughter was watching the Kardashians on her phone in her bed and I could not take that scene. For someone who for their whole life, television was the Olympics of being a comedian. It was only for the very best.”
He added, “You had to have everything. You had to go through all the different hierarchies of your career to get to television. I’m offended by reality television on many levels and that show, of course, is the premier example of reality television. These people are not doing anything interesting. I lost my temper with that one.”

Ironically, Seinfeld’s daughter doesn’t even watch his show. He says she watched his programs in the past, but he has no idea what she views in bed these days.
Jerry Seinfeld recently came under fire for appearing to snub singer Kesha — not once, but three times during an event last Monday. Needless to say, the encounter went viral on social media and Jerry nearly became public enemy No. 1.
It all went down at the National Night of Laughter and Song, which was hosted by the David Lynch Foundation at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. Kesha, a Seinfeld superfan, approached the comedian and attempted an embrace. It didn’t go well.
Later, Seinfeld chatted with Extra’s AJ Calloway and tried to clear up the rumors that he intentionally snubbed the “We R Who We R” singer. He attributed the anti-hugging moment to a generational gap, among other things.
“I’m 63, I don’t know every pop star… I don’t know everyone…I’m not [a hugger], well as a total stranger…When you get to be my age, and you’ve done a couple things, you have your own reality, in my reality…I don’t hug a total stranger. I have to meet someone, say hello. I gotta start somewhere…hug is not the first moment of a human, two humans. I never did that…”
Seinfeld, according to USA Today , needs to know who you are before obliging you with a hug. After all, Jerry is a self-described “germophobic misanthrope.”
Kim Kardashian and her family have not responded to Seinfeld’s diss, and it’s unclear if they will get into a feud with the legendary comic, who has a penchant for controversy as of late. Share your thoughts below about Jerry Seinfeld blasting the Kardashians.
