The latest AP College Football Poll has seen Oregon soar to the No. 2 spot after the Ducks thrashed Arizona 49-0 on Saturday night in Eugene.
Oregon took the No. 2 spot from LSU Tigers who clinched a tight 12-10 victory at Auburn.
Meanwhile, the No. 1 team in the standings, the Alabama Crimson Tide, coasted to a 40-7 win over the Florida Atlantic Owls.
Outside the top three, Florida State stayed in the No. 4 spot after a 49-37 triumph over Clemson, and Georgia remained at No. 5 with a 48-3 pummeling of Vanderbilt. The No. 6 spot was taken by South Carolina, who saw off Missouri 31-10.
Elsewhere in the AP College Football Poll, No. 10 Notre Dame moved into the top ten for the first time since 2006.
Even further down the poll, Oregon State, Rutgers, and Baylor made their first appearances of the season in the Top 25 as UCLA, Michigan, and Arizona all dropped out of the rankings.
Top dog Alabama earned 59 of 60 first-place votes from the media panel with LSU receiving the other.
