Teen Wolf Season 6 is going to be a trip down memory lane, at least once the characters regain their memories of certain people. The show will feature a lot of twists, turns, and mind tricks on the path to recovering long lost friends. It is going to be a bit confusing at first, especially for the characters.
Dylan O’Brien is currently planning to return to the set in October, barring any more complications in his condition. Even so, many episodes have already been filmed with a totally creepy twist that explains his absence but leaves the cast in a rather confusing state of partial amnesia. Specifically, there is a new monster in town that just erases people. It makes life as if they never existed, and the people they know don’t even remember them.
In Teen Wolf Season 6 fans will get real horror, not just the usual hack and slash body count. The will also find an opportunity at some point to recover lost loved ones, believed to be dead or just missing in action, or perhaps forgotten? Maybe the audience has forgotten them too, so there will be plenty of flashbacks to remind viewers exactly who is returning.
Dylan O’Brien’s character Stiles will probably return sometime in 2017, after the New Year at the earliest, considering the show will not premiere until November 15. In the meantime, the writers have cooked up a fascinating plot that beats out previous seasons in creativity.
Teen Wolf Season 6 features a totally spooking class of monsters called Ghost Riders who are ghostly horseback riders who have the power to make people disappear. These otherworldly beings are simply horrifying, both in their appearance and in their behavior.
The Teen Wolf cast will meet their final and toughest foe in Season 6, and this will allow Peter Hale, played by Ian Bohen, an opportunity to escape from Eichen House. So that’s one major returnee.
Dylan Obrien’s character Stiles will almost certainly return this season as well when the Stiles disappearance mystery is finally solved. Thankfully, Dylan is feeling better and will be able to do those intricate scenes Jeff Davis has been planning all along. Davis is quoted by Enstarz explaining just a few of the surprises he has prepared for Teen Wolf viewers in Season 6.
“When we realized this might be the last season, we wanted to make sure we brought back these relationships. We definitely wanted Peter Hale back to see the relationship between Peter and Malia and what other trouble Peter could get into… and we also have some great scenes between Peter and Stiles. I wanted to see again and Ian and Dylan [O’Brien] have some great stuff this season so we’ll see.”
Teen Wolf Season 6 is hoped to be full of joyous reunions and returning characters, including of course Dylan O’Brien. Unfortunately, there is one huge disappointment. It was previously hoped that Tyler Hoechlin would be returning to reanimate his character, Derek Hale, but Tyler has decided that Derek needs to stay dead, according to Enstarz.
“Oh god. I’m sorry, I would love to make everybody cheer and be happy right now. I don’t have any plans to right now. I kind of feel like where we left the character, at least, when I knew it was going that way, kind of wrapped it up in the passing of the baton on to Scott, is just kind of how I felt like that story ended. I don’t know in which way he would come back into this world, exactly.”
