Ryan Edwards can’t get along with anyone, not even his own parents.
The Teen Mom OG star stirred up a lot of trouble during his relationship with Maci Bookout , and now his parents are cutting him off.
Will Ryan ever clean up his act?
According to Radar Online , Ryan’s father, Larry, is shown in a promo trailer talking with a producer about his son finally moving out .
“Good riddance, it was a long time coming,” Larry stated.
Why did Larry finally kick Ryan out of the house?
“It’s just Ryan. I’m over his lies. I’m over his laziness and selfishness. I’m done with it,” he said.
Larry went a step further and admitted that he never wants to see his son ever again.
“I don’t want him anywhere around me, ever,” Larry explained. “And I never want to be around him ever because I’m tired of that blood-sucking leech. I’m over it.”
Ryan’s mom, Jen, was also in the room during the interview and immediately left after her husband’s comments.
Us Magazine reports that Larry then told Jen that he would leave if she ever tried to contact Ryan in the future.
“I’m not crying about it,” he stated. “If she don’t like it, she could get her f**king s**t and get out. I wouldn’t p**s on him if he was on fire!”
Ryan hasn’t been the friendliest Teen Mom star over the years, especially when it came to his baby momma, Bookout.
Bookout experienced several heated exchanges with Ryan throughout their turbulent history together.
This season, Bookout criticized Ryan for not being present for their son Bentley’s sports activities.
“I am literally 8 months pregnant and I make it to every single game on time,” Bookout shared. “He doesn’t have any other children. He doesn’t have a job. He doesn’t have anything else to do. There are no excuses. It’s that he doesn’t care.”
Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly reports that Ryan is currently living at his grandparent’s home .
Jen told producers that Ryan moved into her parent’s house, which they are actually planning on selling soon. The selling of the home was also a contentious topic for Ryan’s father, who warned Jen to sell it to him for market price and not offer their son a discount.
“And you better sell it to him for what you were gonna sell it for, too,” he told her. “You better, you better. You better not damn lie about it either ’cause I’ll find out eventually.”
Larry’s comments didn’t go over well with Jen, who suggested that it will be healthy for Ryan to finally be on his own.
For Larry, he is tired of having to support Ryan and get overlooked by everyone in the house, including his wife.
“Look, I was No. 2 from day one. Then I went to No. 3 after Bentley. I don’t mind after Bentley, but I’m not playing behind him anymore,” Larry said. “Hell, no.”
It still isn’t clear what Ryan did that prompted his parents to kick him out, though it likely had something to do with his rude attitude and lack of parenting skills.
Indeed, as Bookout pointed out last season, Ryan only seems to care about his family when it benefits him.
“I think he cares when it’s convenient,” she stated. “When he has nothing better to do, and that some days he wakes up and I think he genuinely wants to be a good dad and he really tries. Any time something that seems like more fun or something that seems like less work comes along, it’s easy for him to use that as an excuse to not show up.”
Based on the preview for the coming installment, it looks like everyone has had enough of Ryan’s antics.
