A Perfect Christmas heads your way this weekend in a new movie special on Hallmark Channel. In celebration of Christmas in July, Hallmark is offering up a keepsake movie for your viewing pleasure, according to AJC . A Perfect Christmas portrays a newlywed couple that has two major life changes during their first Christmas together. The wife is pregnant, and the husband has lost his job, neither one can find the right time to tell the other what happened. This Hallmark gem is directed by Brian K. Roberts and written by Ron Nelson, Teena Booth, and Alan Levy. It stars Erin Gray as Patricia Faber, Susie Abromeit as Cynthia Faber, Dillon Casey as Steve Faber, and Siobhan Murphy as Annie Tate, according to the Internet Movie Database ( IMDB ).

A Perfect Christmas Hallmark Movie Synopsis

Steve and Cynthia Faber are still newlyweds, but the issues of married life have definitely settled in. Things were going swell at first with Cynthia’s flourishing business as an event planner, and Steve is a successful, high-powered attorney. But the prosperous time in their lives has taken a sudden turn since Cynthia has found out that she is pregnant, and Steve has just been fired from the firm. To make matters worse, this is all happening at Christmas when The Fabers are expecting their respective families to come in for the holidays.

Like any Christmas holiday, there will be several dinners and parties that have to be organized and arranged, coupled with the usual chaos that goes into having a Christmas family get-together. Plus, having Steve’s mother come in for the holidays adds another layer of stress for Cynthia since they don’t get along.

Despite their differences, Cynthia plans on making her mother-in-law feel at home. Meanwhile, Steve knows that the loss of his job is going to cause a hitch in their finances. Now, he just needs to cut back on some bills and do his best to make it through the holidays while trying to figure out the best time to break the news to Cynthia.

Though it is July, A Perfect Christmas is a movie that will bring excitement and joy to the audience during this summer season. It’s a movie about sharing, spending time with the family, and creating traditions, even though things may not be perfect.

On the set of the movie, Susie Abromeit stated that Christmas for her is a “yummy holiday,” one that brings back cozy childhood memories, according to the Hallmark Channel. Dillon Casey stated that viewers would connect with the movie because it depicts what real families deal with at Christmas.

Hallmark’s A Perfect Christmas (2016) is produced by Muse Entertainment and Perfect Christmas Productions. Executive producers on the television movie are Jonas Prupas, Joel S. Rice, and David Zuckerman. Filming took place in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
