There is always strong competition on seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette , but Bachelor in Paradise is more of a free-for-all. One guy finds a girl, one girl finds a guy, and if it doesn’t work out, there are other options. Unfortunately for poor Nick Viall, he always seems to come in as the runner-up, and that appears to be taking place again as his rivalry with Josh Murray has been renewed, and it’s all over Amanda Stanton.
Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the current season of Bachelor in Paradise . If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.
Anyone who has been a part of this reality TV universe knows that Viall just can’t seem to get over the runner-up hump. For two straight seasons of The Bachelorette , he finished as the runner-up and hoped that love would come his way on Bachelor in Paradise .
It seemed like things were actually going well for him as he and Amanda seemed to have something going. Unfortunately for Viall, that was when Murray showed up.

Fans who watched this past Monday night saw Murray show up in paradise and immediately go after Amanda. This renewed the rivalry between him and Viall that started on Season 10 of The Bachelorette as they fought over Andi Dorfman, but it’s getting uglier.
Us Weekly reported that after the episode of Bachelor in Paradise this week, Murray hopped on Twitter to mock his enemy and call him out for his motives on the show. Nick said that he doesn’t really pay much attention to anything that Josh says or his snarkiness.
“I don’t follow Josh on social media. I’ve just been made aware of some of his comments.”
Apparently, ABC did some clever editing to show a much different conversation between Viall and Murray on Monday’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise . M
Murray taunted fans by tweeting out, “if y’all only knew what was said.”
Nick, though, states that everything happened on the show, and it is proof that Murray is trying to pass the blame elsewhere. The guys did have a talk after Josh’s date with Stanton was over, and it brought him across as not the greatest of guys. Nick says that’s exactly how it really is.
“[Josh] seems to be taking the approach with saying things about editing and stuff like that, which is funny because I’ve been in the position in the past where I haven’t been painted as favorable as some of my other peers. I’ve been called a villain and things like that, but I never put the blame on editing.”
E! News reports that Viall said he was rather indifferent upon first seeing his arch-nemesis arrive in Mexico for the third season of Bachelor in Paradise . He knows they aren’t friends but doesn’t really care about the guy in any way or form.
Meanwhile, Murray is as happy as can be with Amanda, and he’s not afraid to show it.
Its ok if the rest of the world thinks I’m a douchebag as long as she likes me???? #SorryShesSoCuteIJustWannaEatHerFace pic.twitter.com/TUp4HeWi55

At the end of the season, it’s going to be Viall coming in second place again as Murray and Amanda not only stay together but are now engaged. The Inquisitr recently reported that they were actually seen out together with Amanda’s children and all seems well with the couple.
Bachelor in Paradise has its fair share of drama, but this little love triangle is particularly interesting considering who is involved. Nick Viall obviously had something for Amanda Stanton, but as soon as Josh Murray showed up in paradise, things got complicated. Now, Josh and Amanda are engaged to be married, and it seems as if things are going well, which means that Viall is simply the runner-up in reality TV yet again.
