Gears of War: Judgment has been hotly anticipated since it was announced last July, and now the game’s developers are adding to the excitement by releasing a launch trailer.
The game is due out on March 19 and it is pretty clear that Epic Games and People Can Fly want to whip people into a frenzy about the game. The trailer shows off action that the developers are billing as the most intense Gears title yet.
Gears of War: Judgement carries the tagline “heroes make it up as they go along.” and this game allows players to do just that by having a game engine that changes the adventure depending on the decisions you make. By changing what happens in game depending on what you do through the adaptive narrative, no two gamers will get the same experience.
The game also features some updated controls and for the first time, a class system when it comes to multi-player functions. This particular title will be focusing on the military tribunal of Baird and the rest of Kilo Squad.
The group has been accused of a multitude of crimes against the state including cowardice, stealing military technology and treason. Kilo Squad has to fight their way through a ton of action and alien bugs in an attempt to clear their name.
The game includes an unlockable second epilogue that works to tie this game more close into Gears of War 3 . There have also been some negatives attached to the eventual arrival of this particular game.
Rumors have been running rampant that Microsoft had the game leaked ahead of its release. The Xbox 360 maker has said that it is investigating how this could have happened. The company has also said that it will be banning any Xbox Live users who might be playing the pirated copy of the game.
Even with those piracy issues, the Gears’ game series is doing quite a bit better than the rumored movie, which has been in “development hell” for quite a while now.
