The free Chick-fil-A breakfast promotion reservation window has closed, but the controversial chain will be buying breakfast for its customers through September 14 — if they made it to the reservations site in time.
All last week, the free Chick-fil-A breakfast promotion was the talk of the social web, and the company set up a site to allow customers to ensure their meal was on the house before making the trip to their local outlet.
According to the free Chick-fil-A breakfast site Chick-fil-AForBreakfast.com, overwhelming response led to a totally full dance card, and the page now reads:
“All Good Things Must Come To An End… Wow! We’ve had an overwhelming response to our Breakfast Variety Giveaway. Thanks to everyone who participated!”
There are links that you can click through if you lost your free Chick-fil-A breakfast reservation, as well as one to the main site. It isn’t clear if there are any ways for people who missed the open window to snag a free Chick-fil-A breakfast, though.
If you were one of the lucky few to grab a freebie, the menu for the promotion is diverse, and includes a chicken biscuit, a spicy chicken biscuit, a sausage biscuit, Chick-n-Minis, a chicken, egg and cheese bagel, a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, a chicken breakfast burrito, a sausage breakfast burrito, oatmeal, or a yogurt parfait.
Over on Facebook and Twitter, the free Chick-fil-A breakfast promotion is being shared with the hashtag #ChickenForBreakfast, and the brand posted:

Did you manage to snag a free Chick-fil-A breakfast in time for the #ChickenForBreakfast promotion, or do you have to buy breakfast like everyone else this week?
