Chris Brown may have recently implemented a new guest policy at his Tarzana home following last month’s legal incident with model Baylee Curran, who accused Brown of threatening her with a gun after reportedly arguing with the singer over jewelry, but according to Brown’s close friend Theotis Beasley, a new guest policy isn’t all that the “Loyal” artist has changed as of late.
Speaking to The Sun during the Mountain Dew Tour AM Series in Amsterdam earlier this week, pro-skater Theo Beasley opened up about his friendship with Chris Brown in addition to revealing that the performer can occasionally be difficult to get in touch with because he’s constantly having to change his phone number due to “girlfriend problems.”

“I know Chris real good. He’s a good homie of mine,” Beasley began on his friendship with Brown. “We text sometimes but he’s always changing his number. Girlfriend problems.”
Theo further elaborated on his statement by noting, “Karrueche, Rihanna, like probably giving his number out to random girls.”
While Beasley didn’t specify how recently the singer had changed his number due to the “girlfriend” issues, it’s worth noting that Brown is currently believed to be single after former girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, called off her longtime relationship with the singer last year after discovering that Chris had fathered a child with model Nia Guzman. Despite reports that aim to romantically link Brown to baby mama Guzman, the “Back to Sleep” singer has previously spoken out against the dating claims on social media.
In addition to speaking on his friendship with Brown, Theo also opened up to Yahoo! News about his close friendship with rapper Lil Wayne, revealing to the site that he has been assisting the rapper in perfecting his skateboarding skills when the duo are both in Los Angeles.
“That’s my boy,” Beasley began on his friendship with Wayne. “Every time I’m in LA he hits me up and we go skate. We go to the club, later that night we go to the skate park from like 12 to like four or five in the morning. He skates late.”
Theo further explains that Lil Wayne has gotten “better” since he’s been helping to coach him on various skateboarding techniques, admitting, “He’s getting better. He can do 180s.”
Similarly, Beasley says he often feels “weird” trying to coach Lil Wayne on his skateboarding skills because he’s a huge fan of the rapper, adding, “He asked me, ‘How do I put my feet?’ I feel kinda weird trying to tell him because I’m a big fan. It feels weird to explain it to him because he’s so dope. We all look up to him. He’s cool.”
Beasley isn’t the only star to have recently gushed over Lil Wayne as a source of inspiration; Chris Brown gave praise to the rapper via Instagram last week amid rumors suggesting that Wayne may retire from hip-hop music after the rapper took to Twitter to share a series of alarming tweets concerning his career.
In his Instagram message to Lil Wayne, Chris Brown begins by crediting Lil Wayne as a source of inspiration for his life and music career, revealing, “This man helped my career in so many ways and has inspired me to live life!!!! FOREVER WILL BE THE GREATEST RAPPER ALIVE!!!! NONe OF YOU RAPPERS WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START. REALISTICALLY MOST OF YALL ARE HIS STUDENTS AND DON’T WANT TO ADMIT IT!!! YMOHB!!!!!!”
Brown then concluded his post with an additional note which reads, “(and I know that Wayne wrote for damn near all cash money records artist when he was a teenager.) n***** wanna be down when it’s all good but soon as they feel the pressure you have to deal wit they all will fade) #YMOHB.”
What do you think of Theotis Beasley’s comment about Chris Brown having to change his number frequently due to “girlfriend problems”?
