Bill Clinton Sings Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ In Parody Mash-Up [Video]

YouTube channel BaracksDubs , which is best known for mashing up President Obama’s speeches with popular songs, has released a new video of former president Bill Clinton “singing” Robin Thicke’s hit single “Blurred Lines,” which has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

“We’re back, again,” the video’s description reads. “This time, the womanizer of womanizers sings the other song of the summer.”

The video was released Tuesday, which happened to be former White House intern Monica Lewinsky’s 40th birthday. At the time of this writing, the video had received over 1.2 million views, and over 15,000 likes. The minute and a half clip also features a cameo appearance from President Obama. Sadly, everything that made the original video so deliciously NSFW is absent from the BaracksDubs parody.

Clinton isn’t the only one who’s taken on “Blurred Lines.” Seattle-based “boylesque” troupe Mod Carousel recreated the video with gender-reversed roles . Caela Bailey, Sydni Devereux, and Dalisha Phillips take over the roles of Thicke, Pharrell, and T.I., and Mod Carousel — which consists of Trojan Original, Paris Original, and the Luminous Pariah — fill in for the nude females from the original video.

“It’s our opinion that most attempts to show female objectification in the media by swapping the genders serve more to ridicule the male body than to highlight the extent to which women get objectified and do everyone a disservice,” Mod Carousel said.

“We made this video specifically to show a spectrum of sexuality as well as present both women and men in a positive light, one where objectifying men is more than alright and where women can be strong and sexy without negative repercussions.”

Isthishowyougoviral also gave us a Sesame Street / Muppets mashup featuring Grover, Kermit the Frog, and Miss Piggy. And in perhaps another childhood-killing parody, YouTuber GarlicJacksonComedy showed us that “Blurred Lines” syncs up perfectly with the opening of The Cosby Show .
