Duchess Kate Prepares For Royal Family Trip To Canada With Prince George And Princess Charlotte

A trip to another country for Princess Kate and Prince William with their children is probably not as harried as a non-royal family, but it is still more involved than if Duchess Kate was traveling to Canada with just her husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge. Kensington Palace is confirming that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be joining their parents on their trip to North America from September 24 trough October 1. The palace says that the royal couple are looking forward to introducing their family to Canada.

But traveling with young children is always a mixed bag, and that doesn’t change even if you are a royal. Prince George is portrayed as a little gentleman, but Princess Kate has been frank with the public that Princess Charlotte is feisty , according to the Inquisitr . Both Princess Kate and Prince William agree that their daughter is spirited, and Prince William says that the little princess can be a handful.

Kensington Palace has released the itinerary for Princess Kate and Prince William’s family Canadian tour, which will start in Victoria, British Columbia, and include 30 engagements. William, Kate, Charlotte, and George will begin their tour in British Columbia and stay for three days. The family will then travel to the Yukon Territory, says Hello Magazine .

One of the highlights of the journey will be a family trip to Great Bear Rainforest, the world’s largest temperate rainforest. Prince William and Princess Kate will take an aerial tour of the rainforest via float plane before landing at Bella Bella’s jetty, where the family will be welcomed by Heiltsuk First Nations community.

ITV News says that it is the goal of the Duke and Duchess to meet a wide variety of people on their trip to Canada, including business leaders, people involved in the film, sports, and music industries. The couple will also meet with Syrian refugees and the government system that supports the 25,000 migrants who arrive in Canada each year.

On September 29, there will be a children’s party for Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte in Victoria’s Government House. This is Princess Charlotte’s first trip abroad, but it’s Prince George’s second trip, as he previously joined his parents on a trip to Australia.

Canada is excited to play host to the royal family and meet the young prince and princess, says People Magazine after a Buckingham Palace briefing with a palace spokesman.

“This is a great opportunity for them to introduce their children to a major realm before things like school start to make these things difficult later on. They really enjoyed taking Prince George to New Zealand and Australia and are delighted to have this opportunity to introduce them to Canada.”

The children’s party will also include military families and their children, who will have a chance to meet the Duke, Duchess, and their children.

“A group of military families have been invited to share what should be a really lovely morning with plenty of surprises for the children.”

Because the children are along with the royal couple, they are limiting the touring to two main locations, and the trip will be decidedly dressed down (a no tiara type trip) to embrace more of a family outing. Although there are a few events that Prince William and Princess Kate will attend on their own, they will try to include Prince George and Princess Charlotte in as many as possible.
