Kristen Stewart brought crutches to the Oscars on Sunday night, though it appeared the Twilight actress wasn’t willing to use them when she hobbled on stage.
There was no word on why Stewart used the crutches. Her only response when Jennifer Lawrence asked her was to say, “I’m an idiot!”
The Twilight actress was recently given a Razzie for the Worst Actress for her role in the series, which was originally written by Stephanie Meyer, according to The Huffington Post .
But despite the “award” as well as a recent poll in Britain that called her the least sexy actress, Stewart donned her usual mussed up hair and bored expression as she presented the award for Best Director with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.
Kristen Stewart’s crutches were present as the actress made her way down the red carpet and to her seat to watch the Oscars. She also used them to make her way toward the stage. But for press photos and presenting, Stewart managed to hobble on her injured foot.
PEOPLE reports that the star’s makeup artist, Beau Nelson, explained that Stewart cut her foot on a piece of glass. Nelson explained that Kristen “cut the ball of her foot, quite severely, on glass two days ago.” Despite “a little bit of pain,” the 22-year-old posed for press photos without the awkward accessories.
Kristen Stewart wore a cream-colored Reem Acra gown to the awards ceremony and apparently had to wear flats as well because of her injury.
