Little by little, Jared Leto has been revealing hints as to how he will look as The Joker in Suicide Squad . He’s been shown with pale face, green hair, and even heard practicing the voice at concerts. Now, it looks like a full image has now been revealed of Leto in full-on Joker persona.
As time has gone on, Leto has been transforming into The Joker. First of all, he lost the beard and the long hair. Then, he dyed his hair from brown to blonde, and finally to green. The voice practiced at his concerts has actually been pretty good.
There was even that tweet showing him posed like The Joker in “ The Killing Joke ,” and that got fans all in a tizzy.
While Leto and Suicide Squad director David Ayer haven’t yet shown a full look as the actor as The Joker, someone else already has. Comic Book first brought notice to it , and it came in the form of a tweet sent out.

You can see Leto sitting off to the left and someone holding up a phone with a picture of what appears to be the actor in full-on Joker mode.
This hasn’t yet been confirmed and it could be a cleverly done fake, but it is fun to think about. Screen Rant has pointed out that this look for Jared Leto as The Joker is what everyone has expected to see in Suicide Squad .
In the close-up look on the tweet, you can see that Leto is wearing a white suit. This is very close to what The Joker wore in “The Dark Knight Returns” from Frank Miller, and that makes a lot of sense.
In all actuality, Ben Affleck’s version of Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is based off of the same series.
Jared Leto has always been a guy that is quite skinny in build, but he has said that he’s been gaining “a lot of weight” for the role in Suicide Squad . Could this lead to a different version of The Joker that can keep up with the bulk enemies he has in Batman and Superman? Perhaps he could be trying to keep up and bigger villains such as Boomerang and Killer Croc?
Suicide Squad won’t hit theaters until August 5, 2016, but fans are truly hoping that an official picture of Jared Leto as The Joker comes out sooner rather than later. For now, we can only rely on what leaks.
