The Season 1 finale of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders airs Monday night on CBS, and this should be an action-packed evening. The team needs to tackle a case involving a kidnapped American girl, another involving a lawyer who goes missing in Spain, and there will be some action for Jack on a personal front as well. What can everybody expect from the May 25 episode?
The Season 1 finale is comprised of two episodes, and they are titled “El Toro Bravo” and “Paper Orphans.” In the first episode, the crew heads to Spain during the running of the bulls event because an American tourist has seemingly run into grave danger.

For the second Beyond Borders show, as an American family heads to Haiti to complete an adoption, spoilers detail that their daughter is kidnapped and the International Response Team kicks into action to find her. It seems that Jack and his wife will also be facing the emotional process of seeing their daughter head off to college.
Will the finale have a cliffhanger? Luckily, it sounds as if things end on a complete and positive note at the end of Wednesday’s shows. Showrunner Erica Messer shared a few Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders spoilers with TV Guide . She explains that she did not want to throw a cliffhanger at viewers just yet, as they are still working on connecting with the characters during this debut season.
While much of the action for these episodes will take place in the field, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders spoilers share that viewers will see the team members heading home before everything wraps up. This is where Jack and his wife Karen, played by former ER star Sherry Stringfield , will be working on sending their daughter to college for the first time. There is also said to be a celebration for the team, and other family members will make an appearance as well.
While the case in Spain involves a lawyer who went missing after his first bull ride, the case in Haiti involves a young girl and suspected child trafficking. Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders spoilers detail that the young girl will be named Abby Wagner, and while Simmons is finding key evidence tied to her disappearance, the IRT team is a step behind and the girl’s life hangs in the balance. The team is typically able to save the day, but it looks like this will be a difficult and emotional case.

While the cases may have lives in peril as they are tackled, viewers will be relieved to know that things are all wrapped up before the episodes end and everybody heads into the hiatus on a good note. This debut season has been a solid hit for CBS, and everybody will be anxious to see more from Gary Sinise and the rest of the cast.
Was Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders renewed for Season 2 or canceled by CBS? As Deadline details, this series has been renewed and it will be back again for more adventures. The original Criminal Minds series has also been renewed for another set of episodes, though that series had to wait until after its recent season finale aired to get the news.
Fans are anxious to see how these cases work out and will certainly enjoy getting a bit of insight into the personal lives of all of the International Response Team members. Will the IRT manage to rescue both of the victims in their new cases? Spoilers tease that there is plenty of action on the way with these Season 1 finale episodes and they can’t wait to get started as it all plays out on CBS on Wednesday night on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
