James Franco has claimed that he once turned down Lindsay Lohan’s offer of sex.
The acting pair were staying at Los Angeles’ hotel Chateau Marmont when they grew close, but apparently the Mean Girls ‘ star wanted the duo’s relationship to turn physical.
Speaking to Howard Stern on the shock jock’s radio show, Franco admitted he decided to reject the actress because she was “having issues” at the time.
Stern flatly asked the actor, “You turned down sex with Lindsay Lohan, didn’t you?”
Franco immediately became flustered by the question, and started to reply, ” Oh, gosh. Poor Lindsay. I haven’t talked to her in a while … We were friends … I met her through friends … there was a moment I was staying at the Chateau Marmont Hotel when my house in L.A. was being redone, so I did this thing where I just stayed at the hotel, and she had been living there for a couple years.”
The Spiderman actor then confirmed, “So we were living in the same place, so I got to know her.” This lead Stern to repeat his questions, “And you turned her down sexually?”
Franco then retorted, “I mean, I don’t want to brag about it. I don’t know how that got out … (She) was having issues even then, so you feel weird. Honestly … she was a friend. I’ve met a lot of people that are troubled and sometimes you don’t want to do that.”
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen has been praising the actress for her work as a current guest star on his show, Anger Management . Lindsay has turned up to each shift on time, and, on Monday, she even managed to arrive an hour early.
A source confirmed that Lohan “hit all her marks” and added, “Charlie and the entire crew were happy.”
