The Voice fans have been doing a whole lot of speculating when it comes to what the coaching panel for Season 13 of the NBC singing show will look like.
After NBC confirmed that Miley would be sitting out Season 12 of The Voice in order to return to the series in the second half of 2017 last month, rumors began to run wild when it comes to which the of the show’s slew of famous coaches would be returning for Season 13 to sit alongside Cyrus.
The network are still yet to confirm exactly who Miley will be sitting alongside, but that hasn’t stopped social media users from speculating about what the upcoming coaching line-up will look like.
Cyrus news source @ TeamCyrusHD recently claimed to have the scoop when it comes to the coaching team for Season 13, claiming in a tweet that Miley would allegedly be joined by veteran coach Adam Levine and returning coaches Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams, which would leave Blake Shelton, who has appeared on all 11 seasons so far alongside Levine, out in the cold.
“Rumor is that along with Miley, the other Season 13 coaches will be Adam, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams!” the Miley update account alleged, meaning Blake, Alicia Keys, and Gwen Stefani will not be back after Season 12, though the source’s claims have not be confirmed by The Voice or NBC.
Blake Shelton has also not confirmed that he will be sitting out Season 13 of The Voice , though rumors have been swirling for weeks that Shelton could potentially leave the series with Adam Levine and girlfriend Gwen after Season 12.
The Voice sources alleged to Radar Online earlier this month that Blake and Adam were “highly considering” leaving The Voice together after appearing on all 12 seasons when the upcoming round of shows wraps next year, claiming that Gwen, who will be back for the first cycle of 2017, could also be joining Shelton in waving bye-bye to the singing show.
“Both Adam and Blake feel that they have run their course as judges,” a source alleged to the site as speculation hit fever pitch about the coaching team for Season 13 of The Voice , even claiming at the time that Levine was considering quitting the show because he did not want to sit alongside Cyrus amid reports of a nasty feud between the two.
“Adam does not really want to return if they bring Miley back,” an insider claimed after Us Weekly alleged earlier this year that the two were caught up in a feud on The Voice set, suggesting there’s a possibility Levine may not be appearing on Season 13 despite rumors of his return alongside Cyrus, Williams, and Aguilera.
The site’s The Voice source then alleged that Adam “really cannot stand Miley,” claiming that Levine thinks that Cyrus “is the most obnoxious person ever” to the point that he’d rather sit out Miley’s next string of The Voice shows than continue sitting alongside her.
Adam and Miley have not confirmed the widely reported feud rumors and President of Alternative and Reality Group at NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy also did not allude to drama between the coaches when announcing the upcoming The Voice coaching panel in a statement issued to E! News in October.

Revealing that Gwen would be replacing Miley and sitting alongside boyfriend Shelton and fellow returning coaches Adam and Alicia on Season 12 of The Voice next year, Telegdy revealed that he and his NBC co-workers “can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake, and Adam will bring to season 12” of The Voice .
“With Miley returning for Season 13, we’re truly ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in our coming seasons,” he continued in the statement, but didn’t confirm recent rumors suggesting that Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams would also be returning to The Voice in 2017.
