There had been rumors flying that Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd were not together anymore. Now the truth is out, and the Inquisitr shared the details that their marriage was never real . They were supposed to finish up all of the paperwork when they got back to the United States, but it never happened. Now Marcus is revealing even more about their relationship. Things changed a lot, according to him.
“Looking back now, it just seems like [Lacy] became a different person. Her priorities changed, what she wanted in life changed. She was just a very different person from when I first met and got engaged to. It became a toxic relationship at times. She was very controlling. I was more of an appeasing person. I wouldn’t want to fight. There were a lot of barriers that we couldn’t overcome. I think that that made her change her mind.”
What looked like a perfect relationship on reality television and social networks, turned out to be that for Lacy and Marcus. They did make plans for a wedding with family and friends, but that never happened either. It was supposed to be when Grodd got back from his training in the Marines. Marcus shared details.
“When I came back, it was just a very different situation with her. It was kind of like postponing our plans. That was the drop of our relationship. She didn’t want to live together anymore. She wanted to be able to take time apart again. Things just drastically changed after I got back. It wasn’t the best situation to start planning a ceremony here in California.”
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul also had some issues about their thoughts on having kids. At first, Lacy wanted them right away, but that later changed. Marcus says that he doesn’t regret any of his time with her, though. They had a great relationship while it lasted.
Marcus even went on to say that he was the one making all of the efforts in the relationship. Grodd did things such as take her to dinner, send home flowers, and really try to make it work. The thing is that Marcus says that she wasn’t trying at all. They haven’t seen each other in a few months, and Marcus doesn’t see any way it will work. He shared his thoughts on his former fiancee.
“I think Lacy and I are done for good. From what I’ve seen of her the past six months, 10 months, a year, that’s not the woman I want to have my kids with and have a family with. I think it’s good and gone.”

Wet Paint shared that Lacy actually said something about their split a while back on Twitter, but she didn’t have near as much to say as Marcus Grodd did. All she said was “Less is always more.” Lacy also said “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves – Matthew 7:15.”
Marcus and Lacy really did seem like they were a great match, but things didn’t work out. It will be interesting to see if any great couples come out of Bachelor in Paradise this year and can make it work. Jade and Tanner got married and seemed to have found their happily ever after.
