Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ 72 day marriage may have ended over one year ago, but comments about the allegedly fake nuptials continue.
A new building is being constructed in Canada, and the construction company used the Kardashian name to explain its quickness of construction.
Being built in The Bay Adelaide Centre in Toronto, Ontario, the new building features a sign that reads:
“Construction set to finish faster than a Kim Kardashian marriage.”
The sign was posted after residents and business owners in the area complained about a prolonged construction process that will disrupt the area’s normal flow of traffic.
The creation wasn’t the work of funny company executives; it was created by the legendary comedy trope Second City.
The Kim Kardashian construction sign is just one of many billboards that will grace the construction sites secured area.
While the Kim Kardashian wedding to Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days, the new construction won’t actually be completed until 2015.
Comments on the internet have ranged from support to disgust against the sign. One reader tells TMZ :
“This is inappropriate. It’s one thing to be a troll on the internet or a comedian doing a set.. it’s whole other thing to act snarky and in poor taste on a billboard of a supposedly professional y business.”
Other comments support the sign. Here’s one example:
“HA!!…counting down before Kim K. sues, that is funny though…”
In the meantime, we’re sure the Kim Kardashian wedding jokes won’t be ending anytime soon. Even following the birth of her child and continued relationship with Kanye West, the reality TV star continues to take pot shots over her past mistakes.
Do you think Second City did a good job with the funny Kim Kardashian construction site billboard?
