The famous couple decided to have the baptism performed in the actress’ hometown of Charlotte. While this occasion was special in and of itself, Affleck and Garner also celebrated their anniversary on Saturday. It would seem the entire family had a memorable weekend.
The couple’s son, 16-month-old Samuel, was baptized on Sunday at Jennifer Garner’s family church. Also in attendance at Christ Church United Methodist were the boy’s two sisters.
According to E! Online , seven-year-old Violet was “well-behaved” during the ceremony. Unfortunately for Ben Affleck, he was forced to wrangle four-year-old Seraphina during the baptism. The little girl reportedly kept getting up and running around inside the church.
During their recent trip to West Virginia, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner took a moment to stop by Rob Lindeman’s restaurant Pies & Pints. The owner told the folks at People that the actor and actress always stop by for a bite to eat whenever they’re in the neighborhood.
“Ben and Jen like to drop in when they’re in town. They’re just really solid people. They seemed like they were having a great time,” Lindeman explained to the website.
According to Cover Media , the couple enjoyed beer, pizza, and a salad during their visit to the restaurant. Robyn Brammer, who also happened to be dining at Pies & Pints around the same time, said Affleck and Garner couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
“They were so cute, holding hands and kissing each other. She had her hand on his leg. They were really affectionate,” the diner dished.
Although Ben Affleck can be found behind the camera more often than not these days, Jennifer Garner still finds time to do some acting. She is currently attached to star in Dallas Buyers Club with Jared Leto and the adaptation of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day .
