JoJo Fletcher is just a few weeks away from handing out her final rose and the weeks leading up to the Bachelorette season finale will be filled with unexpected drama that will lead to a heartbreaking final rose ceremony.
[Warning: Bachelorette Season 12 spoilers ahead]
As the season progresses, it will be clear to viewers who JoJo Fletcher’s frontrunners are. Although he had a slow start, Robby Hayes quickly pulls to the front of the pack and becomes a major competitor in the quest to win JoJo’s heart.

However, his past may come back to haunt him and as much as JoJo gave contestant Jordan Rodgers a pass when she questioned him about cheating, she seems to have an even bigger problem with Robby’s intentions after they spend the night in the Fantasy Suite during the upcoming overnight dates episode.
Hayes, a 27-year-old sales rep, and former All-American swimmer , told JoJo during his one-on-one date in Uruguay (Episode 5, June 20) that he was in love with her. Robby’s words surprised many fans — and possibly JoJo as well — since it was their first date and they only kissed once before during a group date after party in Pennsylvania.

According to Reality Steve, Robby makes it through the next few episodes and onto the hometown dates with a rose, so his “I love you” doesn’t scare her off — yet. After spending the day with her in his home state of Florida, JoJo moves on to the overnight dates with Robby and two other guys, Jordan Rodgers and Chase McNary. That’s where things start falling apart between JoJo and Robby.
ABC has released two teaser videos that hint at what’s to come between JoJo Fletcher and Robby Hayes, and it may confuse fans who are certain that JoJo only had eyes for Jordan Rodgers this season.
During The Bachelorette 2016 trailer shows Fletcher questioning Hayes about his ex-girlfriend, Hope Higgenbotham . According to a previous report from the Inquisitr, Robby dated Hope for four years and broke off their relationship right before filming the Bachelor.
Producers fill her in on the details and she questions Robby during the overnight dates, something that leads to a change of heart during the final rose ceremony.
However, it seems that JoJo is conflicted over her love for both Robby and Jordan (see final rose trailer video below), but it’s something he did to her that forces her to send Robby home.
“I fell in love with you and I still love you,” JoJo says to a man viewers cannot see in the season finale preview below. “But what you did to me, it’s not right. But I wanted you to know. It’s really hard for me to not accept this love.”
According to Reality Steve , JoJo is talking to Robby, but what did he do that was “not right”? Although Hayes denies that he broke up with Hope Higgenbotham so he could come on the Bachelorette to find fame — or possibly score the next Bachelor gig — it appears that JoJo doesn’t believe him. Perhaps she realized that he said “I love you” just a little too fast to make it the real deal?
Of course, it could be some crafty editing on the part of Bachelorette producers and she could be talking to Jordan about the cheating allegations that have been making headlines this season, but Reality Steve is confident that viewers will see the final rose ceremony play out with Robby getting dumped and Jordan getting engaged to JoJo.
Find out what really happens when the two-hour season finale of the Bachelorette airs on August 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
