WWE News, Spoilers: The Undertaker Returns, Huge Title Match, ‘The Cutting Edge’ Tonight On 900th Episode Of ‘SmackDown Live’

After last night’s tumultuous Monday Night Raw and the failed semi-invasion by SmackDown Live , something needs to bounce back for Team Blue before Survivor Series on Sunday. WWE has just the thing as tonight is the 900th episode of the long-running series, and an interesting and exciting event has been built. Not only will there be a huge title match, but Edge will be back for “The Cutting Edge,” and it marks the return of The Undertaker .

Yes, after many months out of the spotlight (actually almost invisible), The Deadman is going to make his way back onto WWE television. No one quite knows what will go on, but that seems to be what the theme of the entire night will be.

The official website of WWE has released the preview for the 900th episode of SmackDown Live and is going to be a jam-packed show. A big-time title match will take place, and it could have implications on Survivor Series . Many fans also wonder whether Team Blue can stand to be in the same ring together.

What will happen when The Deadman comes home?

He hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 32 , and many wondered if he would ever show his face in WWE again. Well, the time has come for The Undertaker to make his return, and he will do it tonight on the 900th episode of SmackDown Live .

Many don’t realize it, but this weekend’s Survivor Series marks the 25th anniversary of his WWE debut two-and-a-half decades ago. Maybe he will deliver a message. Maybe he will honor the long run of the show. Maybe he’s prepared to pick his next victim. No one really knows.

Can The Rated-R Superstar contain SmackDown Live’s Survivor Series Team?

Tonight, WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be back in the ring for a special edition of “The Cutting Edge.” Last week, it was revealed that his guest would be Shane McMahon, but it has now been revealed that the entire Team Blue is going to be in the ring at one time, and that could be dangerous.

As recapped by Forbes , Team Blue showed up last night on Monday Night Raw , and they didn’t necessarily leave with their heads held high. At the end of it all, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins gave AJ Styles a double powerbomb over the top rope and onto the rest of his SmackDown Live teammates.

Can the team come together peacefully even though all of them pretty much hate one another?

Will The A-Lister take back the Intercontinental Title?

The Miz is finally taking advantage of his mandatory Intercontinental Title rematch after losing the belt to Dolph Ziggler last month. The Showoff is hoping to hold onto his title as he has a big match scheduled against Sami Zayn this Sunday at Survivor Series , but that is where it gets complicated.

If The Miz ends up winning the Intercontinental Title tonight, will The Miz take his place and put up the belt against Sami Zayn? Monday Night Raw was hoping to take the belt and see Zayn bring it to their brand, but one has to wonder if The Miz will even bother.

Internal turmoil threatens Survivor Series Women’s Team?

The women of both Raw and SmackDown Live will also face off on Sunday, but the women of Tuesday nights are having some issues. As recapped by the official website of WWE, things didn’t start off well as Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox and Nia Jax on Raw , but there are bigger problems.

Tonight, Nikki Bella will face off with teammate Carmella in a one-on-one match, but the end result could leave some hard feelings. If one woman can’t take a loss, how will she be able to team with the other on Sunday?

Which SmackDown Live tag teams will survive?

WWE didn’t exactly say what will happen with the five teams making up the tag-team version of Team Blue, but it could be chaotic.

The preview makes it appear as if a few matches will take place by asking, “Will they be able to survive long enough to compete on the one night of the year when Raw and SmackDown LIVE are pitted against one another for brand supremacy?”

The 900th episode of SmackDown Live is a huge deal as it just shows the longevity of WWE television series and how successful they can be. With the Intercontinental Title on the line, the return of “The Cutting Edge,” and The Undertaker’s comeback, it’s hard to say there isn’t a lot riding on tonight’s show. Still, people can’t forget this is the true go-home show for Sunday’s Survivor Series as the brands fight for ultimate supremacy.
