Taylor Swift wrote some of the most famous songs about heartbreak, but she seemed to have found true love at last with Calvin Harris. So it was a brutal shock when, once again, Swift suffered through the heartache of another split after Harris dumped her. The breakup was totally one-sided, according to ET’s insider.
“A few weeks ago she was talking about marrying him,” revealed the source.
Although Swift was unceremoniously given the boot by the man she thought was her true love, she’s seeking to cope in a variety of ways. She delighted a fan by showing up at his wedding and performing “Blank Space.”
Social media exploded with excitement from the guests.

The lucky lovebirds, Max Singer and Kenya Smith, enjoyed having Taylor for their musician when they performed their first dance at the wedding ceremony.
But for Swift, her dreams of a happy future with her boyfriend have turned into more of a nightmare after getting dumped. One of her friends told People magazine that Harris just couldn’t deal with Taylor’s success, feeling constantly shadowed by the singer’s success.
As a result, added Taylor’s pal, Harris refused to show up at events that honored his girlfriend unless he was nominated as well.
“[Harris] said on multiple occasions that he was intimidated by Taylor, which is why he would not attend any events where she was being honored, or any award shows unless he was nominated.”
Three recent events provided evidence for that conflict in the relationship. When Swift was co-chair of the Met Gala recently, Harris was missing. He was also absent at the BMI Pop Awards as well as the Grammys ceremony.
In addition to the intimidation factor, the two had different backgrounds that caused even more problems, and Harris also saw no future in their relationship, with an insider telling People that he felt as if the relationship was not “leading anywhere.”
The age difference also contributed to their issues, and the source predicts that the two will not rekindle their romance.
“Their age difference might not be significant for many couples, but for them it was part of the problem too,” added the source. “Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience. They will not be getting back together.”
With the realization that she’s been dumped, Swift is seeking to cope in a variety of ways. Her friend Camila Cabello told E! News that Taylor is a survivor.
“She’s good. She was just in Nashville,” revealed Camila.
In addition to getting support from her family and friends such as Cabello, Swift has turned to the gym for stress relief. And when it comes to working out, the singer is serious about pushing herself to maintain her sleek physique.
Described as exceptionally positive when she exercises, Swift has achieved her whittled waistline by repeatedly pushing herself through her workouts. And beyond that physical strength, she’s emotionally strong as well, according to her girl squad members such as Camila.
Another of those girl squad members, Kelsea Ballerini , also praised the singer to ET .
“She’s incredible. She’s a strong chick. I’m sure she’s fine,” declared Kelsea.
But despite that reassurance, Ballerini didn’t try to hide her recognition that her friend was going through a tough split from Harris.
“It’s a bummer,” admitted Kelsea.
In addition to her empowering knowledge that pals such as Kelsea and Camila have her back, Swift has learned through her multiple breakups what to do to survive the pain and cope.
Taylor has become known through the years as the celebrity who can inspire others to survive after the heartache of a split, pointed out People .
“It’s all right – I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18,” Swift vowed to Ellen DeGeneres after one infamous split early in her romance history.
Swift also has coped by turning to music, writing songs that help her express her emotional pain.
“When music is all that you have, and you’re lonely and you’re missing someone or you’re trying to forget someone, and you write a song that says exactly how you feel, there’s sort of a gratification you get from that that almost helps you move on.”
