Lamar Odom suffered a serious brush with death back in October of 2015 due to an apparent overdose at the Love Ranch, a legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada. The former NBA star, who was rushed to Sunrise Hospital in Nevada, had grim chances of survival, but miraculously, he survived. But now that the dust has settled, there’s one man who’s speaking out about the incident because he feels he should have at least been thanked for helping to save Lamar Odom’s life.

Although the man’s name was previously mentioned in very few media reports, he claims to have seen everything that occurred the day Lamar Odom was found unconscious and he has bombshell details to reveal to the world.
According to Radar Online , he’s the brothel manager, Richard Hunter . During a recent interview with the celebrity news publication, Hunter shared little-known details about the series of events that led to the 911 call after Lamar Odom was found. He also shared his reaction to the entire incident and how it has personally affected him. “For a long period of time there wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t think of it. Now, still not many. Maybe a few days here and there. There’s usually a reminder of it,” Hunter admitted.

In addition to the trauma he claims to have suffered as a result of seeing Lamar Odom in such a grim state, he claims he’s never even received a thank you from Khloe Kardashian or the rest of Lamar’s family for helping to save his life. Hunter also believes Lamar Odom should set the record straight regarding the incident since the brother’s “drug-free” reputation has been reportedly tainted.
Hunter argued that Lamar secretly brought drugs into the brothel. Although Lamar was charged a staggering $75,000 for his stay, Hunter also wants to clarify that Lamar wasn’t ripped off, either. “If anyone were to ask him [about the overdose] I would hope he would acknowledge, that this is not a drug house where people are sitting around doing illegal drugs. That would be helpful,” Hunter told Radar . “He could let everybody know that nobody ripped him off, he made his own choices and he was here, no one was helping him with drugs.”
Although it doesn’t look like Lamar Odom will ever speak out to defend the brothel, Hunter claims he’d be pleased if Lamar has at least learned a lesson from the near-death experience. “But, if you gave me the hypothetical option where he gives an interview that absolves us of any blame, but that he’s going to keep on binge-drinking, or the other option that he’s never going to say a word publicly about this, but he’ll straighten up his life, I would definitely take the latter,” Hunter said.

The latest reports about Love Ranch manager, Richard Hunter follow a string of reports about Lamar Odom’s latest invite back to the Love Ranch. Although many fans found the invite relatively odd, it has been confirmed that Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof did invite Lamar back, IJ Review .
According to Hollywood Life , Lamar Odom reportedly wanted to bring a camera crew for the visit so his return to the ranch could be featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. An insider shared details about Lamar’s plans . “He’d be going there to recount what happened that fateful day. And, he wants the ‘KUWTK’ cameras rolling,” the insider said.

The insider also claimed Lamar made the decision in hopes of healing his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, but it doesn’t look like that’ll be happening since it has been reported that she’s filed for divorce again. At this point, no one knows what the future holds for Lamar Odom but fans hope he never has another death scare like the one that took place at the Love Ranch.
