What does Bethenny Frankel think of Sonja Morgan’s latest business venture, a Prosecco line called Tipsy Girl? Bethenny thinks it’s sad and fake. In her blog post recapping Wednesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City , which saw Sonja celebrate the launch of her alcohol line, Bethenny proclaimed that Sonja’s alcohol line was created just to stay relevant on the show.

Bethenny pointed out all of the business ventures that Sonja has created in recent years. Bethenny called Sonja’s businesses are more sad than laughable. According to Bethenny, being a reality star is Sonja’s real job, and the business ventures are just done for storylines. In contrast, Bethenny considers herself a business woman with a real career that the show follows.
“Sonja has had: an event company, a jewelry line, toaster, nigerian football team, fashion line, and now a Prosecco–none of which have come to fruition. It is laughable but more sad. Women, this is not how it works. This is the problem when being a reality star is your actual job versus having a career the show follows. People create imaginary businesses to stay relevant.”
Bethenny went on to pretty much say that the drinks businesses started by other housewives, including those from other cities, have either failed or are just being propped up to make themselves look and feel good. Bethenny Frankel dared to insult the businesses of her co-star Ramona Singer, The Real Housewives of Atlanta ‘s NeNe Leakes, The Real Housewives of New Jersey ‘s Teresa Giudice and Kathy Wakile, and The Real Housewives of Orange County ‘s Vicki Gunvalson. Bethenny proclaimed that unlike the other housewives’ businesses, hers is hugely successful.
“Ramona, Teresa, Kathy Wakile, NeNe, Vicki, and the OC girls and more have all followed suit. I know the numbers and believe me, it isn’t easy and almost all have discontinued or are currently a vanity play. I have begrudged none of them. There is room for everyone, and I hit it out of the park.”

Bethenny ended her blog by pointing out that her Skinnygirl alcohol line includes Prosecco and that Sonja Morgan’s Prosecco is not available for sale yet.
“I have a brand called Skinnygirl including a Prosecco, and I am supposedly her mentor who had no idea. Please note, the product is not available for sale. This may just be another sideshow to stay on the main show.”
On Twitter, Bethenny implied that she feels sorry for Sonja.
I’m intentionally not responding to the tweets on the topic. I don’t wanna go for her bc I genuinely feel for her & have compassion here.

In response to one viewer who wondered if Sonja really doesn’t see that her business name is too similar to Bethenny’s, Bethenny accused Sonja of playing dumb .

A preview for next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City shows Bethenny Frankel telling Sonja Morgan that her business is a “cheater brand” and a “personal insult” to her, which leaves Sonja in tears. Will viewers see Sonja’s friend and housemate, LuAnn de Lesseps, stick up for her? LuAnn is another person Bethenny has an issue with. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Bethenny wrote last week in her blog that she prefers that she and LuAnn be “ fake social friends .”
