Chris Brown isn’t slowing down when it comes to releasing new music, with the singer having announced the title of his forthcoming eighth studio album just one day after dropping a new collaborative mixtape, Before da Trap: Nights in Tarzana , alongside his OHB (Only Hood Bosses) crew on Friday.

Chris Brown took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the official title of his upcoming album in addition to teasing the arrival of a new single on May 5, revealing, “NEW ALBUM(HEARTBREAK ON A FULL MOON) NEW SINGLE DROPS MAY 5 TH . GO DOWNLOAD #OHBMIXTAPE #BEFOREDATRAP #nightsintarzana,” HHNM reports.

While Chris Brown later deleted his Instagram post, which also featured a photo of the “Loyal” singer donning an “OHB” t-shirt in honor of his group’s new mixtape release, fans were quick to screenshot Chris’ announcement regarding his upcoming album release.

Chris Brown previously teased the arrival of his new single last week after he took to Twitter to provide fans with a “to-do list” regarding his upcoming projects, which includes the arrival of his controversial Welcome to My Life documentary in addition to the beginning of the European leg of his upcoming “One Hell of a Nite Tour,” which kicks off on May 22, Rap-Up reports.

“TEAM BREEZY TO DO LIST: 1. OHB MIXTAPE DROPS FRIDAY 2. SECTION BOYZ, QUAVO, OHB SONG ‘WHIPPIN’ 3. NEW CHRIS BROWN Single drops MAY 5 4. OHOAN TOUR EUROPE 5. DOCUMENTARY 6. PARTY YOUR A** OFF! 7. TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!! *fire emoji*,” Chris Brown wrote on Twitter on April 26.

While there’s little information available regarding the arrival of Chris Brown’s Heartbreak On A Full Moon album and upcoming single release, Brown is keeping fans busy with his Before da Trap: Nights in Tarzana mixtape which features a total of 19 tracks including recently released singles “Wrist (Remix)” and Section Boyz and Quavo’s “Whippin.”

According to Rap-Up , the mixtape was inspired by Chris Brown and his OHB crew’s studio sessions at Brown’s home in Tarzana, California, and includes a slew of features from guests including Young Thug, Tyga, and Kevin Gates to name a few.

Chris Brown’s forthcoming Heartbreak On A Full Moon album will serve as a follow-up to 2015’s Royalty , which dropped on December 18 after experiencing a delay from its previously scheduled November 26 release date. In order to appease fans who had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Brown’s seventh studio album, the “Ayo” singer dropped a 34-track mixtape titled Before the Party on Black Friday which features songs like “Counterfeit,” “The Breakup,” “Roses Turn Blue,” and “Hell Of A Night.”

While some have criticized Chris Brown’s decision to release a wealth of new music in such a short time frame, Brown recently opened up to Urban Ink about his “fearlessness” in evolving his sound through his music.

“It’s not arrogance; it’s fearlessness. People dog themselves before they give themselves an opportunity to fail. So I think they let other people’s insecurities bring their doubts down. I don’t let that stop anything I’m doing,” Chris Brown explains of his ever-evolving music style.

“It’s never worked out for me in the past, so I think that listening to myself and focusing on what I needed to do puts me in that category. If I wanted to rap or if I wanted to yodel, I think I would have just done it anyway with the confidence of me saying, ‘I’m gonna do it.’ People usually have a lack of confidence due to insecurities. Once again, it’s not arrogance. It’s just being very aware and fearless of doing things or willing to try,” Brown concludes.
