Fox News has recently reported that thousands of anti-Donald Trump protestors are currently marching towards the Trump Tower in New York City. The rally began around noon this Saturday in Columbus Circle and was completely peaceful. As the protestors began to march, the situation became increasingly more dangerous.
Around 1,500 to 2,000 protestors are reported to be there by Bryan Llenas who is currently on the scene. The protest started from a group on Facebook and includes movements like Black Lives Matter. Several other movements are reported to be there as well.
Mace was sprayed on the protestors by the police, who are there in full force. The rally began to become a little more violent when protestors at the front of the march started to get into confrontations with the police.
There are hundreds of police at the site of the protests and they are not taking any sort of violent misconduct. The police were sent to try to maintain some sort of order and keep the protest from spilling into the streets of Manhattan. The protestors who tried to walk on the street were told to move to the sidewalk. The police detained some of the protestors as the march went on.

The protestors are calling for a “Trump free” New York City. They shouted out that Trump is “anti-gay” and a “racist.” The protest is supposedly filled with the supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders.
Llenas reported the organizers of the New York City protest are from the Black Lives Matter movement, the Millions March movement, and the Cosmopolitan Anti-Fascist movement.

Trump is currently in Arizona campaigning, where there is also reports of massive protests. The protestors blocked a road outside of a Trump event, according to CNN . Three protestors were arrested and two cars were towed in the protest.
Trump appeared with Sheriff Joseph Arpaio and former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. They both announced that they are supporting Trump. Arpaio wasn’t too keen on the protests around the event. He felt that his freedom of speech was being infringed upon which Trump has previously claimed as well.
This is not the first time protestors have taken this kind of approach to Trump. His rally in Chicago was canceled due to safety concerns. After the cancellation of his Chicago rally, a man tried to rush the stage Trump was on when he was campaigning in Ohio.
The Republicans have a big decision to make due to the fact they may have to divide their party. If they decline to give Trump the nomination, the protests could start to begin in favor of Trump. Trump supporters have proven that they are not afraid to have their voice heard.
Trump claims that their will be riots against the Republican party if he is denied the nomination. His supporters are not afraid to fight for their leader.
One of Trump supporter went as far as to punch a protestor. When Trump heard of the occurrence, reports claimed that he offered to pay the attackers’ legal fees. Trump recently denied that he ever said that on ABC’s Good Morning America.
Republicans are doing whatever they can to stop Trump, including endorsing candidates that they aren’t too keen of. Mitt Romney recently endorsed Texas Senator Tex Cruz, which is odd because Cruz is anti-establishment and is widely disliked by the GOP.
The Huffington Post also claims that top Republicans and company CEOs have had a secret meeting to come up with a plan to stop Trump.
As the road to the Republican nomination winds down, these protests are most likely going to become more common. The New York Republican primary is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 19, and Trump is expected to win in his home state.
