Scott Baio has endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States. Mere moments after the conservative Hollywood star appeared on Justice with Judge Jeanine on Fox News, the viral hashtag #ChachiLovesDonny, was born. The hashtag was a nod to the Happy Days spin-off show, Joanie Loves Chachi .
The Donald Trump supporter also previously starred in Charles in Charge , was the focus of two reality shows, and has done directing work since his time playing Chachi. Scott Baio was a teen heartthrob during the early 1980s and appeared on a multitude of magazine covers — to the delight of millions of preteen and teen girls who subsequently hung the magazine photos on their bedroom walls.

Scott Baio has this to say when Justice with Judge Jeanine asked him who he is supporting in the 2016 election.
“Trump. It’s very simple, because when he speaks I understand him. He speaks like I speak. He communicates with people very well. I’m fed up, I’m done with them, I’m done with the Republicans. They’ve lied and conned and BS’d me for a very long time now and I don’t even consider myself Republican anymore. I’m a conservative independent.”
Baio said that in addition to Trump’s straight talk, he likes that the businessman is a political outsider compared with the other Republican candidates.
The Joanie Loves Chachi star also told Jeanine Pirro that Donald Trump is the right candidate to truly go after the Democrats and added that playing nice, well, it just doesn’t work anymore.
“They’re gonna attack whomever the Republican nominee is and we need somebody to relentlessly, relentlessly attack Hillary,” Baio added.

In 2015, Scott Baio was a supporter of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, CNN reports. The actor tweeted a message stating that Walker sounded a lot like former President Ronald Reagan.
The actor was born Scott Vincent James Baio on September 22, 1960, in Brooklyn, IMDb reports. Baio was the youngest of three children born to Mario and Rose Baio after they had emigrated from Italy.
When he was just 9-years-old, Baio decided he wanted to become an actor. Soon after, his parents started taking him on interviews and auditions. He appeared in a few bit parts in television commercials before his big break came in 1976, when he was cast in the lead role in Bugsy Malone. Scott Baio reportedly bested about 2,000 child actors to get the part.
The Donald Trump supporter has also appeared in the television series Arrested Development and Diagnosis Murder . IMDb also reports that Baio’s biggest career regrets are turning down parts in both Maverick and Top Gun . Several years ago, an internet rumor claimed the actor had died in a horrible car accident.
Scott and Renee Baio are the proud parents of Bailey Deluca, who was born in 2007. The baby was born five weeks premature. The parents were faced with grim news about the baby facing a possibly life-threatening condition the day after she came home from the hospital. Bailey underwent painful and repeated tests, which carried a long and agonizing wait for results. Ultimately, Bailey was given a clean bill of health, but the experience prompted Baio and his wife to become newborn testing advocates in an effort to bring an awareness about the importance of such testing to parents around the country, People reports.
The former Happy Days star is not the only celebrity who have come out in support of the front runner, Kid Rock, Jon Voight, Pete Rose, Mike Tyson, and Wayne Newton are just a few of the others willing to lend their star power to the help the campaign.
