The Scream Queens Season 2 video teaser has been officially released by Fox, according to Entertainment Weekly .
But that’s just some of the good news. During Scream Queens’ PaleyFest panel on Saturday, the show’s executive producer Brad Falchuck revealed plot details as well as the names of cast members who will return for the second hospital-themed season.

Falchuck said that Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Glen Powell, Abigail Breslin, and Niecy Nash will return for the second season of Scream Queens . As for the plot, the show’s main character Dean Munsch Curtis (portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis) is moving on to “great success.”
“She’s abolished the Greek system in the country, she’s written her book, she’s traveled the world, and she says, ‘I need a new mission. I need a new battle.’”
And Curtis’ character on Scream Queens chose healthcare as her new battle, according to the executive producer. In particular, on the new season of Scream Queens , Curtis buys a hospital and runs it “the way she sees fit.” Curtis, who loves to be in control of things, will focus her attention on “cases that no one else will take.”
The teaser for Scream Queens Season 2 features ’90s style eerie music with women screaming in the background.
The video also features a hospital bed in the middle of a dimly lit hospital hallway, while the names of this season’s actors and actresses pass over the screen. At the end of the teaser, “ Scream Queens Season 2? appears on the screen.
According to Entertainment Weekly , most of the cast members have no idea what their characters can expect in the upcoming second season of Scream Queens . In her interview with Entertainment Weekly before the PaleyFest panel, Niecy Nash (who plays Denise Hemphill on the show) revealed her hopes for her character to become President of the U.S.
But as revealed by the co-creator of Scream Queens , after having finished her time in Quantico, Denise will become an FBI agent.
Abigail Breslin (who portrays Chanel #5), meanwhile, revealed her concerns that her character might want to do some avenging in the new season of Scream Queens . But Lea Michele (who plays Hester Ulrich) seems to be aware of what’s coming for her character.

Michele said during the panel that as far as she knows, her character is “done killing,” adding that she is “very excited” about her character’s fate in Scream Queens Season 2.
“Ryan told me all about it. I know everything that I’m doing next year, and I’m really excited about it. My character’s storyline is reminiscent of a very famous horror film, and I love horror films, so I was really excited about that.”
Falchuk revealed during the Scream Queens panel that there will be a murder in Curtis’ hospital and that Michele’s character will be “intimately involved” with him.
Scream Queens’ executive producer also revealed on Saturday that the series is just in the early stages of writing, according to Comic Book Resources . Falchuk also promised the show’s fans that the second season will feature “some of the most fascinating and bizarre” medical cases .
As for the storyline of Zayday, portrayed by Keke Palmer, the character will join Curtis in her medical school after graduating from Wallace University in two years. The executive producer also shared details about the fate of Chanel Oberlin (played by Emma Roberts), Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) on Scream Queens Season 2.
According to Falchuk, the three will become medical students under the supervision of Curtis after taking their education “seriously” while in the mental institution.
