WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross revealed that Bret Hart has won his battle with prostate cancer. Speaking on The Gunz Show , Ross said that Hart, who recently revealed his battle with prostate cancer, is now safe, and all the issues are resolved.

“They removed the cancer by removing his prostate,” Ross said. “His cancer is a non-issue now, thank god. All issues are resolved and addressed… so that’s the good news about Bret Hart.”

Jim Ross appeared on The Gunz Show on Idobi/77 WABC Radio and explained that he was recently texting with Hart about his conditions. He also talked about the wrestling business as a whole in New Japan. Talking about the Attitude Era and the real-life repercussions together with the behind-the-scenes story, Hart explained details about the wrestling lifestyles.

Bret Hart, who suffered a stroke in 2002, revealed a month ago that he was battling with prostate cancer and vowed to “wage a fearsome fight against cancer” and beat the disease with the help of his family.

“Hopefully, people will gain strength from that and use me as somebody they can look up to if someone in their family or themselves goes through it,” Bret Hart previously wrote on Instagram.

Hart fell off his bicycle and had a stroke that immobilized the left side of his body in 2002. However, “The Hitman’s” continuous workout and wrestling training facility helped him to fully recover from the stroke by 2011. Hart also believed the stroke to be his biggest health challenge and that he could beat cancer and inspire people.

“I said to myself that I would never complain about anything, and I think I’ve lived my life that way,” Bret Hart said. “I rarely lose my temper, rarely let anything bother me like it did. I just learned that it’s better to be calmer.”

The 58-year-old retired wrestler discussed his prostate cancer last month and posted a picture with his grandchildren.

“I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that’s kept me going this long already. Love is my weapon and I’ve got much of it around me all the time, for which I’m truly blessed and eternally grateful. My children, grandchildren, and my loving wife Steph have been and will constantly be at my side. I refuse to lose, I will never give in or give up, and I will win this battle or die trying.

“Most important of all, I hope can take the fight to prostate cancer. To be a leader in awareness and to set the example for men everywhere who find themselves in my very same shoes, that prostate cancer can be beaten.”
