Fifth Harmony has been overly vague about their forth-coming single and second studio album, but a tweet from the group’s Twitter account and one from Epic Records’ CEO L.A. Reid has finally given fans some specifics – and clues – about the song to kick off an album unofficially titled 5H2.
The most-specific new piece of information came from music mogul L.A. Reid, who confirmed the official release date of the new Fifth Harmony single. In a Twitter Music pre-Grammy’s chat , Reid signaled the date was less than two full weeks away until the first new material from the popular band in over a year.

With a simple “back to work” caption, the all-female band showed a desert location that several websites — including Bustle — have reportedly linked to the set of the new Fifth Harmony music video .

Outside of the Fifth Harmony snapshot, other images that reportedly came from the set of the new video shoot have been captured before being taken down by the poster. A photo attributed to Instagram user ccaitlinwheeler showed the girls in some serious Mad Max themed clothing, according to the website Beautiful Ballad .
Yet another set of pictures from the purported Fifth Harmony music video set emerged this week, this time coming from another Instagram account belonging to aspiring child actors Hayden and Harlo. The photograph that was credited to the child – who appears to be in the picture – was also not available.

Beyond the actors, other fans have posted pictures of the backlot for the Fifth Harmony video. While the Twitter pictures have not been attributed to a source, the images are consistent with the Mad Max theme being purported for the new music video.

Fifth Harmony is rumored to be working on a third video with Hannah Lux Davis, the director of two of their previous music videos. While there are no stories connecting Hannah to the “Worth It” singers, at least one Harmonizer has reported the popular 28-year-old director is in charge of the music video. Previoulsy, Davis was linked to the Fifth Harmony videos for “Miss Movin’ On” and “Me & My Girls.”
Like Fifth Harmony, Hannah Lux Davis is one of the most popular individuals in the music business today. In the past two years, Hannah has worked with Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Demi Lovato, among others. Racked called her an in-demand director for some of the top talent in the music industry, citing her ability to cater to the stars (and their entourage) for helping her climb the ladder so quickly.
Fifth Harmony has climbed the ladder just as quickly. The female band — which was formed on the American version of the show X Factor — scored an enormous hit with “Worth It.” The group won Billboard’s Woman Group of the Year in 2015, and the band captured the People’s Choice Award for Best Band in January.
After their latest accolade, a Fifth Harmony band member tweeted a special message to their fans, telling them that the new album would be released in the near future.
omg 5H WON BEST GROUP OF THE YEAR!!!! thank u so much u guys for voting, also we have a present for u. 5H2 coming very sooooon ?

Since Fifth Harmony enjoyed their success early in 2015, Camila has enjoyed her own success, scoring a hit with Shawn Mendes. The two wrote “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” in about 30 minutes while the tour were at a tour stop with Taylor Swift. Cabello also counts Taylor as one of her friends, spending several evenings with the Swift.
Recent articles have been focused on any secrets Fifth Harmony may have. Ally Brooke Hernandez spilled several secrets according to a recent Inquisitr article. One thing that is not a secret is the band may eventually split, leaving fans anxious to get as many hits out of the girl group as possible before Fifth Harmony disbands.
