The company driving the idea of easy-to-create Flash content has an extra $5 million to further its product.
Sprout secured the funding in a deal with investment firm Polaris Venture Partners today. Sprout’s work can be seen all over the web in the form of video- and audio-based widgets on blogs, Myspace profiles, and other random web sites. It makes it obscenely simple to create the interactive widgets, so any web publisher — tech-skilled or not — can make it happen.
