U.S. Marshals Offering Bounty On Ethan Couch, Missing ‘Affluenza’ Teen

Perhaps the most ridiculous excuse for criminal activity, which was “affluenza” or not guilty by spoiled rotten, has backfired on the Texas court system, and one judge in particular, because after violating parole by getting caught on tape playing beer pong, Ethan Couch is now on the run with his mother, and the U.S. Marshal Service has placed a bounty on his head.

The Washington Post is reporting that there is a payday awaiting anyone who can help bring in fugitive Ethan Couch.

“Every person who carries a badge in the United States of America is aware he’s a fugitive,” Terry Grisham, a spokesman for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said.

And there is a warning for Couch, and his mother, who is also facing charges: You can run, but you can’t hide.

“You can run, but you’re always going to be looking over your shoulder,” the sheriff said of Couch, according to CNN . “We’re not going to give up. We’re going to come after you. We’re going to find you, wherever you are.”

Couch escaped serving any time behind bars, because his lawyer argued that because he was spoiled, he did not know right from wrong. Instead, he got probation, and just has to spend ten years avoiding alcohol. Couch failed to appear for a hearing on December 11, to address the charges he was caught playing beer pong.

“Couch first made headlines in 2013 when he avoided jail time for a DUI manslaughter conviction that killed four people after his lawyers successfully argued that the teen’s privilege kept him from knowing right from wrong. Couch’s family is reported to be worth millions, thanks in part to a booming sheet metal business. It’s their success — and the way they have handled it — that Couch’s attorneys argued contributed to the teen’s reckless behavior.”

The New York Daily News is reporting that the family of a man who got 20 years for the same crime with the same judge as Couch is outraged that Couch was able to successfully allude authorities.

“Excuse my French but that’s bulls–t and now he’s on the run,” said longtime family friend Harold Willett.

And foul is being cried, because it looks like the person with the most money, wins.

“Then you got this punk a– kid, the similarities, tragic as they are. It was the same only different because Couch’s family has all that money,” Willett, 57, fumed.

And the facts are that Couch was not only drinking underage, but he also had been taking stolen pharmaceuticals, not prescribed to him.

“Couch was also 16-years-old when he killed four people on June 15, 2013 and paralyzed one when he slammed his truck into a car pulled over on the side of a country road while doped up on Valium and stolen booze.”

Radaronline says that Couch and his mother had ample time to empty the house that they share. When the police came to check after Couch avoided court, all that was left was a pinball machine.

“He got way out ahead of this and got away before any of us knew he was missing,” the local sheriff said.

Anyone who sees Couch or his mother should call 911 immediately, and report the sighting to authorities.

Do you think that Ethan Couch and his mother should be punished to the fullest extent of the law?
