Jimmy Fallon reportedly has NBC executives worried that his drinking may be spiraling out of control. According to the New York Post, Fallon’s latest blunder has raised concerns . For those who don’t know, Fallon has suffered three different injuries over the past four months — all of which occurred while he was intoxicated. Last week, Jimmy Fallon was seen at a party in New York City. At first glance, he looked relatively normal, but with a closer look, it’s quite noticeable that he has bandages on his hand. Jimmy’s injury stemmed from an accident the happened on October 24 at a party held by Harvard University’s humor magazine, Harvard Lampoon . Jimmy, who was honored at the event, enjoyed most of his night, mingling and greeting guests, when he accidentally “tripped over a woman who had bent down in front,” according to People .
The fall may not have been as bad if he hadn’t fallen on broken glass. The publication reported that Jimmy was “holding a bottle of Jagermeister” at the time of the fall. He injured his hand when he fell on the shattered bottle. On Monday, October 26, Jimmy appeared on The Tonight Show with a stitched hand. He briefly explained the series of event that took place, which confirmed the report published in People .
“I threw the bottle and then I landed on broken glass… There [were] pools of blood everywhere.”
Jimmy Fallon’s latest “tumble” comes just months after a more serious injury, where he almost severed a finger. Back in June, Jimmy was rushed to a hospital after a freak accident occurred at his home.
Once again he’d fallen, but this time, his wedding ring got caught on a table corner. Earlier that evening, Fallon had been spotted at Scalinatella, an Italian restaurant in the Upper East side of New York City, enjoying dinner and sipping wine. Shortly after that accident, Jimmy took to Twitter with brief details about the daunting fall tweeting, “‘Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table almost ripped my finger off (bad thing).” He also shared a photo of his injured hand.

Although freak accidents can happen, the alleged problem centers around the fact that most of Jimmy’s accidents happened while he was intoxicated. According to the Daily Mail , an insider recently spoke with the New York Post , revealing NBC execs’ concerns about Jimmy’s drinking .
“It’s gone from being a whisper to a chatter,” an insider told the New York Post .

However, it’s still unclear whether there’s any truth in the rumor. The latest reports follow Jimmy Fallon’s recent contract renewal. Back in August, NBC renewed his contract for The Tonight Show , extending the show until 2021. The network released a statement commending Jimmy for his excellent work “on and off camera.”
“Jimmy Fallon is a highly valued member of the NBC family who is both a tireless worker and an extraordinarily gifted performer. His dedication in putting on a great show each and every night is unparalleled, and that is reflected in the large amount of viewers who tune in — he frequently outrates the broadcast competition combined. We are proud of his accomplishments on and off camera and look forward to working with him for many years to come.”
