Khloe Kardashian is following her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s footsteps by giving Lamar Odom an ultimatum.
Several celebrity gossip blogs are claiming that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wants her estranged husband to stay true to this word and his sobriety this time around. Khloe Kardashian is reportedly happy about Lamar Odom’s long road to recovery, and is willing to help him, but only if he’s willing to help himself. Several reports are claiming that Kardashian has given Odom an ultimatum.
According to a TMZ report, Khloe told Lamar that if he relapses on drugs one more time, she will divorce him and go through the paperwork this time around. Khloe is also not reportedly happy that her fans and family are calling her “stupid” and “naïve” for calling off their divorce. It’s clear that she wants to be by Lamar’s side through his recovery, and wants to see him get back on track with his sobriety. The report also claims that Khloe knows that Lamar has no one else in his life who will take care of him. Lamar’s medical bills will reportedly cost millions of dollars, and he doesn’t have the money to cover it, even though some reports have claimed that he has a net worth of $56 million .
Meanwhile, an alleged inside source told the Hollywood Life that the youngest Kardashian sister may have called off their divorce after Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel on October 13 after an alleged drug overdose. But Odom is going to have to earn Kardashian’s trust if they’re going to ever get back together.
“She still loves Lamar, but it’s way too soon to think about them trying to be a loving married couple again. He would have to prove himself again and again for her to even trust him a little bit.”
Khloe has not left Lamar’s side since he’s been hospitalized. She did leave his Los Angeles hospital bed for the first time for Kim Kardashian’s Troop Beverly Hills themed baby shower. Another inside source told the Hollywood Life that Lamar was the one who wanted Khloe to leave his side to spend some quality time with her famous sisters.
“Lamar insisted Khloe go to Kim’s baby shower because she has done so much for him and needs some downtime. He said that family were the most important thing and told her that she shouldn’t let her big sister down. Khloe was reluctant at first, and didn’t want to leave his side, but Lamar told her he would be ok and she can visit him afterwards.”
The NBA star also believes that working out would do Kardashian some good. He’s also been encouraging her to leave his bedside so she can literally work out her frustrations at the gym. Before Odom’s health scare, Kardashian has been sharing some of her work out journey on her Instagram page, along with her new website and app. Over the summer, she showed off her hot new bod in the pages of Complex , and her fitness closet in Self magazine.
“Khloe wasn’t rushing to leave Lamar’s bedside. She would have still been there if both Lamar and doctors hadn’t told her it was best she get out, exercise and have some Khloe time. Lamar’s so grateful to be alive and breathing. That’s why he’s encouraging her to get out of the hospital and recharge her batteries.”
It must be working because Khloe shared a new workout video on her website on Tuesday, October 27. She also got a new haircut, which her hair stylist Jen Atkin shared on her own Instagram page .
Reports claim that Odom’s condition has been improving despite having two emergency surgeries and being in a fragile state. But of course, he still has a long road ahead of him. As for Kardashian, she has been slowly inching her way back in public by posting on her blog and Instagram page. Since the reality star has been following her word, it’ll be any wonder if Odom will follow his word, long after he’s fully recovered.
