Now that production for Season 6 of Game of Thrones in well underway, there has been a flood of spoilers released as various characters have been spotted on set. Thankfully, these leaked photos that offer a glimpse at what fans can expect to see unfold in the new season. With that in mind, here are a few of the latest leaks for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones .

According to The Week , one of the latest developments centers on Daenerys ( Emilia Clarke ) and her possible arrival in Westeros. In a photo leaked from the set, Daenerys is seen standing beside Margery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). This image has lead some to speculate that Daenerys may finally reach her destination in the new season.

Meanwhile, another leak confirms the return of Yara Greyjoy (Gemma Whelan) in Season 6. Greyjoy was last seen back in Season 4. In speaking of her keeping her character’s return a secret, Whelan recently admitted that it was a difficult task. “You really watch your back on everything – ‘don’t say too much’. But at least it’s been leaked that I’m going to be in it, so I can talk freely about that,” she told Comedy .

Whelan went on to reveal that the new season will be venturing into new territory as it is the first season not to be based directly off a book.

“They’ve liaised with George R.R. Martin who writes the books, and gone off on their tangent, with his approval,” she stated. “So that’s why people are even more interested in spoilers. It’s funny isn’t it, there’s no other show like it.”

At the same time, another exciting spoiler involves the Tower of Joy, which is expected to be incorporated into the new season. In fact, the site that is believed to be the location of the tower is at Castillo de Zafra in Spain, which in appearance looks as the perfect structure for the tower.

With that in mind, it is thought that perhaps Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) true lineage may be revealed in the tower. This would make sense given the character’s death last season, and the fact that he left a lot of loose ends to fill.

Speaking of Snow, he has certainly been at the forefront of rumors throughout the production of the new season. Although his character was presumably killed off during the season five finale, Harington has been spotted on the set of Season 6. This had led to plenty of speculation about a possible return and that perhaps Snow has been resurrected.

In fact, according to io9 , Snow may indeed be brought back to life and depart from the Night’s Watch. (Wouldn’t you depart if everyone turned on you and stabbed you to death?) This idea surfaced after Harington was seen dressed in House Stark attire in what appeared to be a battle scene. The details of this battle have not been released, though it does indicate that fans will see more of Snow in the future.

Elsewhere, fans will see Tobias Menzies and Clive Russell return in their parts as Edmure and Brendan Tully in the new season. Apparently, they will be included in the story as Jamie makes his way to Riverlands in order to put down the last bits of Robb Stark’s supporters.

Lastly, construction has started in another filming location near Larne Lough in Northern Ireland. In a few leaked photos released by Yorkshire Post , construction crews can be seen getting the place ready for filming. At this point, it is thought that this location will be used for scenes involving Daenarys in the Dothraki grasslands, though it could also have another, unknown purpose.

Season 6 of Game of Thrones is expected to premiere sometime in the spring of 2016.
