Brown and Guzman have made headlines over the past few months regarding their heated custody battle over Royalty, which seemed to escalate after Brown began accusing Guzman of using Royalty to extort money from him while Nia attempted keep Royalty from seeing Brown due to his history of violence and drug use.
Despite their differences, sources close to Chris Brown and Nia Guzman have now agreed to put on a united front and co-parent Royalty by taking their daughter to swimming, gymnastics, and dance classes together.
Brown’s sources also claim that Guzman and Chris have come to an agreement about Royalty’s pre-school education, and both Chris and Nia want to be involved in their daughter’s education plans in the future.
While it’s unclear what ultimately changed between Chris Brown and Nia Guzman to convince the duo to set aside their bitter differences, the news of Brown’s decision to co-parent Royalty with Nia has led some fans to inquire about the nature of Chris and Guzman’s improving relationship.

Not long after the news of Chris and Nia’s desire to co-parent Royalty made headlines, Chris Brown’s fans took to Twitter and Instagram to speculate on whether or not there may be a romantic connection between Chris and his baby mama.
According to The Shade Room , Chris Brown reached out to the site’s Instagram account to swiftly shut down any rumors of a growing relationship between himself and Guzman, telling the site, “Co-parenting. Not ‘TOGETHER’. Clearing this up so there isn’t any confusion.”
While Chris Brown may be agreeing to co-parent Royalty with Guzman, fans were quick to point out that Brown seemed very adamant about not romantically tying himself to his baby mama.
The news comes just one month after Chris Brown was awarded joint custody of Royalty despite Nia Guzman’s attempt to prevent Chris Brown from receiving any type of legal custody for their daughter after Chris’ home was broken into earlier this year.

Chris Brown took to Twitter just prior to his custody battle with Guzman to insinuate that Nia was using daughter Royalty as a “meal ticket” in order to extort more child support money from him each month, People reports.
“Some men my age run from their responsibility as fathers. I embrace mine. Just sucks that some females use children as meal ticket.”
While Guzman expressed her concern over allowing Royalty to be left in Brown’s care without legal supervision, the court ruled that Chris Brown would be allowed to see his daughter 12 days out of each month without the need for supervised visitation.
In addition, Chris Brown is responsible for paying Royalty’s schooling, health insurance, medical bills, and nannies while also paying Guzman $2,500 for monthly child support.
While Chris Brown may have shot down rumors of a budding relationship with Nia Guzman, recent rumors have also suggested that Chris is still trying to reconcile with longtime girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
Karrueche called off her relationship with Chris Brown in March after learning of Chris Brown’s father status, and she has continually denied Chris’ attempts to get back together.
However, sources close to Chris Brown have recently revealed that Brown is solely focused on raising daughter Royalty and no longer has an interest in reuniting with Karrueche Tran.
