After getting a rather controversial victory over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam , The Undertaker has been noticeably absent from WWE television. Lesnar has made an appearance and Paul Heyman recently announced his client’s “Go To Hell Tour” rubber match against Taker at Hell In A Cell . Still, there has been no word from the Deadman, or anything at all, but will he appear on this week’s Monday Night Raw ?
Everyone thought that The Undertaker would disappear into obscurity again and not come back until WrestleMania 32 at which he was supposed to finish off the feud with Lesnar. Vince McMahon made the call to change things and end things at Hell In A Cell in October.
Bleacher Report believes that this match inside the cell is the right move and needed to be done. It’s been a number of years since the Deadman fought inside the cell and it’s time for him to do it again, but now against one of the most dangerous opponents he’s ever faced.
Now, the announcement of the Hell In A Cell match between Lesnar and Undertaker came from Paul Heyman. There was no word on it coming from WWE and no word on it being a challenge that Undertaker had to accept.
Still, it’s set in stone and is definitely going to happen.
By looking at the live events schedule on WWE.com, The Undertaker will not be showing up on Monday Night Raw again until October 19. That is the go-home show for Hell In A Cell , and the one that Brock Lesnar is set to be on as well.
That also happens to be the Raw taking placer in the American Airlines Center from Dallas, Texas. It is going to be a huge show for WWE that will include “Stone Cold” Steve Austin , Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and a host of others.
The Undertaker will be reuniting with Kane to take on The Wyatt Family for WWE’s tour of Mexico in mid-October. Those dates are set in stone, but it is not expected that the Deadman will be on WWE television until that go-home Raw .
Anything is possible in WWE and The Undertaker always could show up unannounced on Monday Night Raw or maybe in a taped promo or something. His match at Hell In A Cell with Brock Lesnar has plenty enough build-up so it’s not like they need more of it.
