Comic books aren’t just something you hold in your hand and read anymore, as the comic book movie world has grown by leaps and bounds. Even though so much has already come in the past few years, the next five years are going to be absolutely huge as far as what DC Entertainment and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are bringing. Here is the updated and complete list for all comic book movies heading your way through 2020.

Marvel brought forth Ant-Man , which just recently crossed the $400 million mark worldwide and is still being successful. Fantastic Four bombed with only $55 million domestically, according to Box Office Mojo , and that puts serious doubt that the sequel is actually happening in the summer of 2017.

Gambit seemed up in the air earlier this year, but as the Hollywood Reporter revealed in early August, it’s on for sure. Channing Tatum signed his contract and the movie is going to take place.

The following list and comic book movie schedule is through 2020 from this point in time. Dates are always subject to change, but this is the way that things are currently in place for both DC and Marvel. Some of these may end up changing, and sequels could always possibly drop out depending on how earlier films do.

Some things are known about the above films, and then there are those which are complete mysteries except for the titles. Even that could end up changing, just like Warner Bros. recently deciding to reboot the Green Lantern franchise and making it about the Corps. Also, Ryan Reynolds is busy under the mask of Deadpool .

It’s known that Cyborg will star Ray Fisher in the lead role, but he will be introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice just like Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller, and Aquaman (Jason Mamoa). This is going to truly lead to the two-part Justice League film and introduce a lot of other DC Comics characters.

The comic book movie world is already huge, and it’s going to do nothing bit get bigger over the next five years. DC Comics and the MCU is far from done and this schedule is nothing but the beginning.
