The creators of Scream Queens have treated fans to an early look at the upcoming horror comedy. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan recently revealed the opening credits to the new series, which, as expected, feature plenty of screams.

The video, which was released on YouTube , features a number of different characters, each screaming their heads off as a red masked figure looms in the background. If the opening credits are anything to go by, then the series will definitely include a fair share of murders.

With that in mind, Jamie Lee Curtis, who is set to play Dean Munsch in the upcoming series, recently sat down with TV Line and revealed how no one on the show is safe.

“Ryan has created something where people are gonna die every week,” Curtis explained in the interview. “And every single person has a motive.”

Scream Queens centers on a group of sorority girls at Wallace University who are confronted with the deaths of multiple students on campus. Fearing a serial killer is on the loose, the ladies of Kappa House must deal with the grisly murders and find out who is behind them before it’s too late.

The creators of Scream Queens are known for their success on other hit television shows, including Glee and American Horror Story . At the same time, the new horror comedy is expected to include a lot of dark comedy infused with a good amount of slasher horror and murder mystery.

The series will feature a number of different stars, including Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande , Abigail Breslin, Diego Boneta, Keke Palmer , Billie Lourd, Glen Powell, Curtis, and Skyler Samuels.

Although the series will see a lot of characters meeting their untimely end, some of them will be returning in Season 2, which means at least a few of the characters will be spared. That being said, Michele recently revealed who she thinks might be the killer behind the red mask.

“I feel like the killer is definitely a girl,” Michele explained to Variety , “That’s all I’m going to say.”

Michele added that her theory of a girl killer may have been confirmed by Falchuk.

“I have a theory. I’ve tested the theory with Brad, and his reaction was close to being spot-on for what I’d imagine he’d do if I was correct,” she stated.

Scream Queens is scheduled to premiere on September 22 on Fox.
