As Real Housewives star Yolanda Foster continues to fight like a warrior in her battle against Lyme disease, there seems to be no treatment in the world that she won’t explore to regain her health and to set a precedent in combating Lyme.

Foster has been wrestling with the autoimmune disease since 2012, and it has taken its toll. The Inquisitr reported that Yolanda Foster’s husband, David Foster says his wife won’t be happy to just fight the disease for herself, but rather she wants to crack the code to cure the disease for everyone.

According to Christian Today , Lyme disease is caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi , and people get it through the bite of an infected black-legged tick. The disease causes fatigue, joint pain, and then neurological symptoms. Right now, once you have Lyme disease, you have it forever, and like most autoimmune diseases, there are periods of remission and then flares.

Recently, Chinatopix showed photos that Foster shared of her cryotherapy treatment , which she calls “three minutes of bliss.” Cryotherapy is an anti-inflammatory treatment that addresses a number of issues.

The Daily Mail has also reported about another therapy for which Foster had to travel to Germany to receive. Stem cell therapy that helps treat the neurological symptoms of Lyme disease but will not eradicate the disease itself. Yolanda Foster has also traveled to Mexico for other therapies still not approved in the United States.

“Sometimes I wonder how my spirit keeps going, but no matter how dark my days are, I always try to remember that there are people out there who have problems much bigger than mine and under much worse circumstances,’” she wrote on the Dr. Oz website.

At this time, there is no cure for Lyme disease, but there are many sufferers, like Foster, searching for a cure.

Earlier this month, TMZ reported that Yolanda Foster had her breast implants removed in an effort to rid herself of anything artificial and toxic after doctors found that one of her implants was leaking. Again, removing the implants won’t cure her, but along with the other therapies, it will likely mitigate the damage to her body.

According to the New York Daily News , Foster has also sworn off Botox , nail polish, and other cosmetics in an effort to live a cleaner life.

Foster has spoken out on her improvements since diving into these new therapies.
