Bachelor in Paradise is already well underway, and there has been more drama during the first three weeks than the entire last season of the show. While one couple did get engaged and married on Bachelor in Paradise , it seems like steamy hookups and random dates define what this show is all about. But when the contestants fly to Mexico, there is a genuine desire to find the one and only. Sadly, it rarely happens.
And one Bachelor in Paradise contestant has been through the ringer. Clare Crawley went on The Bachelor in hopes of making a connection with Juan Pablo Galavis. Sadly, that didn’t work out for anyone, including the final woman in question, Nikki Ferrell. After her broken heart last year, Crawley jumped on a plane to film the first season of Bachelor in Paradise.
According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Bachelor in Paradise star Crawley isn’t pleased with the outcomes from either season. In fact, she seems to be too set in her ways in regards to settling down, and she isn’t about switching partners. As she said herself during her exit, she should have been the next Bachelorette , not returning to Bachelor in Paradise .
“If they would have just chosen me for The Bachelorette , I wouldn’t have to be here,” she revealed during her Bachelor In Paradise exit, adding, “I would have found my husband. I guess there’s part of me that’s sort of hard not to be jaded and skeptical, but it just hurts because you hit a certain point where it’s just a slap in the face.”
“This is my retirement from Bachelor in Paradise ,” she said as one of the last things before driving off.
It is possible that this is indeed the last the world will see of Crawley. She won’t be returning next year for Bachelor in Paradise if her comments are to be believed. But one has to wonder if she would accept an offer to become the Bachelorette next spring.
Even though she may have gone through pain and embarrassment, she doesn’t seem to be packed with regret. She posted a picture, which was a quote talking about the importance of taking risks, no matter how the outlook appears. Maybe this could hint that she would try out for The Bachelor now that Ben Higgins is the new leading man. But she probably shouldn’t hold her breath when it comes to The Bachelorette.
Do you think Crawley should be the next Bachelor? Or do you think she should return to Bachelor in Paradise next summer?
