Jon Stewart’s time as host of The Daily Show has now come to an end, but he’s still going to do a little hosting work this weekend. Stewart’s first hosting gig since ending his long run on the hit show will be WWE SummerSlam on Sunday. Many are already wondering if he will get involved in the ring and if WWE Champion Seth Rollins will be happy about it.

Stewart recently ended his epic 16-year run on The Daily Show , and it’s well known that he has an affinity for wrestling. WWE revealed that he is going to be in Brooklyn and step right back into his hosting job that he does so well.

Earlier this year, Stewart got into a social media battle with Seth Rollins, and it led to a surprise appearance of the WWE champ on The Daily Show . It was then that Rollins challenged Stewart to show up on Monday Night Raw to settle things once and for all.

After that, Stewart showed up on Monday Night Raw to answer Rollins’ challenge and held a mock talk show in the middle of the ring. The 52-year-old political host handled his own very well, even when he was threatened by the champ.

Rollins looked like he was going to beat down Jon Stewart, but a distraction allowed the soon-to-be SummerSlam host to get a swift kick to Rollins’ groin.

SummerSlam is going to be a gigantic event for WWE, as there is going to be so much happening that it’s been upped to four hours. It will be headlined by Brock Lesnar taking on The Undertaker in a revenge match from WrestleMania XXX .

John Cena will be taking on Seth Rollins in a “Winner Takes All” match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title and the United States Title. Stewart is set to host the entire event, but chances are he will be involved in this big match in some form or another.

Jon Stewart’s final episode of The Daily Show aired on August 6, and everyone has been wondering what he would do now.

WWE SummerSlam is on Sunday night, and it’s going to be a star-studded event with a whole card of fantastic matches. Adding Jon Stewart in as the host adds even more to a night that won’t soon be forgotten by all wrestling fans.
