The Chicago Bulls lost another superstar. The Bulls, who are currently struggling against the Philadelphia 76ers will go into game four without their star point guard Derrick Rose or their big man Joakim Noah.
Noah sprained his left ankle during game three against Philadelphia. Noah tried to keep himself in the game but was forced to find a seat on the bench. The Bulls lost game three and are now trailing the 76ers two games to one.
Coach Tom Thibodeau said that Noah is “not good enough to go” for tonight’s game. But the Bulls coach is still hopefull that his team can grab a victory.
Thibodeau told the Boston Herald:
“Omer (Asik) obviously can handle that position. Taj (Gibson) has played both (center and power forward). It gives you versatility there. We feel like we’ll be OK. We have three bigs. We also have Scal. We feel we have more than enough.”
Noah was injured on a fast break in the third quarter during game three. Noah went up for a layup and came down on Andre Iguodala’s foot. Noah continued to play but was limping badly and eventually was taken out.
The Bulls entered the playoffs with the number one seed. Derrick Rose was injured in the final minutes of game one and many sports analyst said that the Bulls no longer had a chance. The Bulls lost game two at home and game three in Philadelphia. Things were looking pretty bleak for the Bulls, and now with Noah out, well, there is always next year.
